Keep it clean inside anf you wont need them. Those trees are kinda thug like anyway. All the dope smokers have then, thinking they cover up the weed smell. They don't, or cigarette smoke either. Several hanging off the mirror are called a "felony forest" for a reason.
Lmao at "dope smokers" ?

If you see one of these "dope smokers" do you rush home so you can call the cops from your rotary phone before gathering the family around the trusty antique radio for a episode of Flash Gordan? ?

Unfortunately, if you had followed the instructions on the outside. It wouldn't have happened.

Hopefully not too spendy to fix. Good luck.
I wasn’t the one who put it there or removed the wrapping… just sayin. ? But we won’t discuss that one! ?

I had the same thing happen on my 2019 Tacoma, Had mine on the shifter and it rubbed the plastic bezel.

Don't think I want to be having any of those chemicals in my air either. Sheez.

Fixing stupid....
I have a much simpler method for any smells in the jeep.

take 1 part water
1 part dog
Mix liberally.

apply watery dog to the interior for 5 seconds. (If you go any longer it is permanent)

you wont smell anything else in the jeep for 6 months……..

My JL is over three years old, and still has a new car smell. No food, no drinks, no dirty animals, no weed, no smoking inside the Jeep. Oh, and the wife and I take a shower 1-2 times a day. I have never used an air freshener. No need to.

Apparently you need to be careful where you hang your air fresheners. I had a "Little Tree" air freshener hanging on my shifter, and the chemicals in it severely cracked the plastic trim! We checked my wife's car because she had a similar air freshener in the same spot, and the same thing happened! I guess I will be looking for a replacement plastic piece now, and changing to a different air freshener! The Jeep only has 4k miles on it, too, and the 'little tree' couldn't have been in there for more than a couple months. ?

If you think that's bad, you should see what Coke does to engine oil.

All kidding aside, a few years ago I had the windshield replaced in my F-150 at a local, reputable, non-chain window shop. They wouldn't work on a vehicle if the owner left a little tree in the rear view. They actually have a whole section on their website about it.
