It’s the way of the world now . Of course you’re not responsible. Nobody’s responsible for their actions. The car goes too fast it’s the car’s fault. Food makes you fat it’s the food’s fault. A gun kills a person it’s the guns fault. you customize your Jeep it’s the fourms fault. All logical.

I'm already kicking myself in the arse for not getting the XR package.
Not bitter at all the XR isn't available for people ordering a manual..... ?

Yep... I really want to say I'm done with my Jeep but I know that would be lying. lol.

Lift, 35s and a regear might happen one day after the Jeep is paid off...
Exactly what I did, along with hood, fenders, bumper, spare tire carrier, push bar, diving lights………?‍?

I am new to Jeeps and wheeling and only just ordered one. I've already got a spreadsheet with 50 items on it. I'm just trying not to buy any Jeep-specific items until I actually own a Jeep but it's hard.

My name's Jeff...
hi Jeff - I’m on the same boat! Ordered my first jeep 6/24, created an account here after lurking for a while and now I’m trying to reconcile my spreadsheet with my bank account. I’m still off by a few zeros though…

Do you know what your first item will be? I’m thinking I’ll take some hinge covers and maybe even mudflaps with to the dealership when I go pick it up. All this talk about rocks flying up and chipping tbe paint is giving me nightmares already!

Hi Bill!
Congrats! I wish I had ordered 6/24 instead of 7/22! I think putting on mud flaps and/or hinge guards soon after purchase is a great idea. Especially if the order takes a while and it's winter with more debris to fly up. Based on advice from my experienced Jeep buddy, I have steeled myself to getting dings and scratches and wear since I plan to take it off-road. Below is a link to my spreadsheet with the items planned. Best to you! I would like to see your plans and build as you proceed!

EDIT: I should have said that the initial items I plan to get are really convenience or safety items. Some sage advice I've gotten on the forum has been to drive the darn thing around for a while before I go too crazy. One item that might not wait is a frame-mounted Rock Rail Side Step. This will be my daily driver and my wife's elderly parents live next door and may need a ride. A Rubi with the Extreme Recon package is likely to not be easy to get in.

You have to make your Jeep your own, if you don’t its just like any other car or truck on the road. Give it a personal touch, stand out above the crowd and Just Empty Every Pocket.

Hi, my name is Mark...

I have well over $10K in mods and unfortunately I have documented every add.

There are several support organizations/clubs you can join.

WASP = The Willys Anonymous Support Program
JAMM = The Jeep Anonymous Money Managers
WANTS = The Wrangler Anonymous No Total Spenders
RACUM = The Rubicon Anonymous Cost Unlimited Modifiers

I'm having a hard time choosing between the last two. Best of luck getting healthy again.
