Hi Im Scott,

I just wanted a stock rubi that could go anywhere. Its all Teds fault for talking me into a lift, rims, tires, winch, bumpers and need I say more. I didn't get the drone though.

Probably need a roof rack, a rear door spare tire support, a new two way radio to talk to the friends I haven't met yet after my wife divorces me, and those ARB lights would look good on the ARB bumper. :)

You might have better luck turning off your internet and throwing away your credit cards.

Sounds like most need man classes on how to run your house like a man. Lots of wife this wife that stuff. The world sure has changed.

Hi Bill!
Congrats! I wish I had ordered 6/24 instead of 7/22! I think putting on mud flaps and/or hinge guards soon after purchase is a great idea. Especially if the order takes a while and it's winter with more debris to fly up. Based on advice from my experienced Jeep buddy, I have steeled myself to getting dings and scratches and wear since I plan to take it off-road. Below is a link to my spreadsheet with the items planned. Best to you! I would like to see your plans and build as you proceed!

MeatRack's Build Spreadsheet

EDIT: I should have said that the initial items I plan to get are really convenience or safety items. Some sage advice I've gotten on the forum has been to drive the darn thing around for a while before I go too crazy. One item that might not wait is a frame-mounted Rock Rail Side Step. This will be my daily driver and my wife's elderly parents live next door and may need a ride. A Rubi with the Extreme Recon package is likely to not be easy to get in.
that sounds like very wise advice - a jeep probably will (and maybe even should) accumulate some dings and scratches over time. I’ll make that philosophy mine if my internal freak lets me haha

in any case, happy to share my list - it’s very TBD ans changing all the time. Definitely nothing mechanical and looking to invest some $$$ and time in learning the basics of offroading first, since I’ve only watched youtube videos so far ?

keep me posted on yours, too!

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it! So I told the wife I was going to leave the Jeep stock. After two weeks of ownership I'm already looking at goodies to add on or replace. It's y'all's fault, all them pictures of your rigs done got to me. Lights and a shorty front bumper are already on the horizon. I'm trying to decide if I need to thank y'all or not. Is there like a Jeep owners Anonymous out there? Just in case.
My wife will tell other Jeep owners, Don't talk to Ted, he will get into your wallet.

Hi my name is Dustin and I’m a jeepaholic.

I started with front bumper and winch however after only one week of ownership my wife stole my 22 Rubicon XR so I had to order a new 392 XR so it’s technically my wife’s fault I’m starting over. ?

If you have steel bumpers you can turn them into stubbies by removing the end caps.
That's what I did with mine, added the winch and shackle mounts and it is sick. I want to add a stinger bar soon.

I had to buy a Jeep so my kids and family could get me some good stuff for Christmas and my birthday. I am tired of getting cookbooks and kitchen stuff.:LOL:
