I feel alive again. Threw back a shot of jameson, watched What happened to Monday, settled myself down with some vanderpump rules....

We have a new place, Buccys or something like that.... a huge gas station store type thing... i hear its an adventure?!? Kids keep talking abt it.
Anyhoo....
Where's the jeep halloween festivities in florida this year?

Buc-ee's is awesome! It is a gas station, but that doesn't quite cover it. They make a lot of their own stuff, so they have fresh beef jerky, BBQ sandwiches, and lots of other things. Big shopping section as well.

You're going to love Buc-ee's, it's like a small amusement park except the attractions are the endless rows of things to look at and the rides are weaving around the yokels in the bathroom/checkout line. I'm glad they're branching out of Texas. If they have a side freezer, grab some bacon wrapped quail poppers and andouille sausage, the boudin will tempt you but it's only worth trying once.

Not as fresh as the venison jerky at my highschool. Boys showed up late to first period in camo and made up for it the next day with delish jerky. Best highschool ever. Personally i like my jerky dry. You gotta bite, tear, and suck on it...
If its at all smushy- forget about it. Like the junk i find in publix. Ick.

Your correct on the willys..... but wayyyyyy off on old faithful...
I will never say a 392 is better than any jeep. Just faster. i cant take it trailing so perhaps its not as jeepy as a real jeep than can truly offroad.

Well can't seem to escape this thread. Talking about Buc-ee's does anyone in Texas more than others remember Stuckey's and their Famous Pecan Log's ??? Used to stop just to get them all the time on trips. They are few and far in-between now. I know of one Gas Station on way to Waco that have the Pecan Logs (Cherries inside)and you can still order online last I looked.
