Precisely. I was also in that window, so I did some looking. Y07 actually doesn't even list '21 model in the recall. My assumption is it was part of the build at onset, but that is simply an assumption.

I was able to do the TA upgrade a few months ago. I will say I agree that they are better, but I don't know that I saw the same "wow" factor that you and others saw*. I heard much more defined highs, so things like hi-hats, piano comps, etc. came through better, but otherwise things were pretty...
You might be able to get that from the window sticker. Throw your vin on end of this URL and see if you get something:

The 2.0/3.6 argument is easy because the 2.0 doesn't exist. There is only one option for manuals...
Here is one that is going to upset some people: ESS isn't that bad.
I'm a technology guy, and definitely look forward to wireless carplay without using buggy aftermarket stuff, but this is not it. The 8.4 is as big as they should go vertically. The chief and primary reason for me is that manuals still exist. That bottom row of buttons would be about knuckle...
Thanks for the detailed response. I know a couple of us are toying with a cheaper alternative, but it is sounding more and more like the TAs may be worth the money after all. There is a big difference between $85 and $250, but the ease of install is something to note, and if they really are...
YOU ARE THE GUY.
I've been looking for someone who had upgraded using "traditional" upgrade speakers, and could speak to their performance vs Terra. It appears you are the guy. So, if you wouldn't mind, what is your setup? Alpine or Standard? What head unit? Any other modifications for sound?
I would be good with that, or move just about any of the controls to make it work. My rant to Jeep is below.
There is no reason the emergency flashers need to be there. There is no reason traction control needs to be there. Same for the start/stop override, parking sensors, heated wheel...
Yes. This.
And also, move the switches to a place they can actually be used. I shouldn't have to change out of third gear just to roll the windows down.
Another point is around safety laws. Some states require doors, and for some reason tube doors do not cut it. I think someone mentioned doors had to be "factory" but I'm not sure how that is enforced. Half doors would basically be your only option if you were wanting to go completely naked in...
Glad to hear you like them. Add that to the almost-unanimous praise for TA.
And when you say "stock", is that stock stock? Or Alpine stock? My first instinct is that those with the Alpine might not notice as much of a difference.
I am confident the TAs will sound better, but if they sound the...
I would agree it is sleazy on Jeep's end.
I also agree about not driving an ugly car.
I disagree about the $500. That being said, we all have a different appetite for effort. Some people don't mow their own lawn. Some people don't change their own oil. I pay for one of these and do the other...
I'd probably just bump to painted flares, but that's just because our parking situation changed. I keep thinking if I order a new one, I'll add trailer package, but I've yet to need the receiver on my current jeep. That makes me think I don't need the whole $900 package, but maybe just the $85...
First, lol at them for just barely capturing the "confidential" at the top. I always enjoy that.
Second, Jeep has really figured out just how lazy many jeep buyers are by swapping the standard wheel up to an upgrade. That's the opposite direction most things go, yet some people will pay it...
And are they upside down in a glass of water? That's so bad it sounds like you are just getting kick panel sound rather than dash sound. Not only sound quality issues, but even volume issues. I don't have the Alpine system in mine, but I can't imagine that is better than even bone stock. Have...
