Iāll puff puff pass on that advice, thanks !don't put those energies into the universe and you'll be good
Yes. They're stolen a lot and only take about 2 minutes to program a new key once they've gained access to the interior. Suggest adding a kill switch, especially for a 392.Starting a road trip this week for several weeks. I have the time to have an IGLA installed but is it worth it on the 392? Are these jeeps targeted like hellcats and TRX trucks? Is there another easy option?
I installed the BOLT hood lock. Here's my comments on this product (I like it):It is a concern of mine. So I've done the following two things:
1. Bought a pair of Faraday pouches ($10 for two) on Amazon. One for my main key, and one for my spare.
2. Just ordered a hood lock from eTrailer so they won't be able to pop the hood so easy and get to the fuses (or steal the battery).

I spent way too much money on this new Jeep and I don't want it stolen.

I'm sorry to hear about yours (or anybody's) Jeep theft. It makes me even more paranoid. Some sort of kill switch should be my next move (I need to research it).Iām on this forum because my JKU was stolen last month and thinking about purchasing a new JLU.
On the Nextdoor app in my area, there have been several Jeeps reported stolen in the last two months.
My next Jeep will have some sort of security. I am aware it can still be towed, but Iād at least like to make things a little more difficult. I had 0 security/anti theft.
Keep in mind, my location is likely the reason Jeeps are a significant target here. I live in San Diego, CA and am less than 30 min. from the border and thatās exactly what they did with my Jeep, they drove it to Tijuana. I had an AirTag hidden inside and saw the location way after it was too late.
