Awesome! Thanks a lot!
The dealer will likely not want to get near this swap. I looked up the part number on the cluster I bought and it is $284 at Allmoparparts.
I would suggest you find a Jeep equipped like yours except with the upgraded cluster (I believe it is part of the technology package) and use the vin from that Jeep to order a cluster. If you use your vin you will get one just like the one in it. There are a LOT of different part numbers.

That site has all oem parts?

Found a basically new (19 miles) Rubicon instrument cluster on eBay for $100, only issue it was a KPH cluster. I realized that all of the digitals in the cluster (Speed & Odometer) could be swapped US/Metric via Settings in U-Connect menu.

Found the following video, which is for new US Speedo Tach/Speedo dials

After watching it I realized I could either A) Buy new replacement dials, or B) swap my current dials into the KPH speedo cluster.

Long Story short, rolled the dice and so far, a winner.

ISSUES:

*JL Sport 3.5 Cluster Tach dial and Rubicon 7” Tach dial are shaped differently and the JL Sport doesn’t have the Tach bezel. Decided to keep eBay Tach dial and swap the Speedo dial which was an “issue” bc of below.

*The Original Cluster markings were Orange, the eBay cluster markings are Red. Not sure if this is the case in all MPH vs KPH or Sport vs Rubicon clusters but I am OCD and do not find it that noticeable when lit, nor a dealbreaker for me.

*Odometer reading - have already made an appointment with a local shop to reprogram to match actual mileage**

**For any & all trolls whose initial thought is “that’s ILLEGAL”, I’ll mention briefly that a) I practice law & understand the law(s) in Arizona surrounding this mod. B) I am not making this mod, with any intention to lower or ”roll back” the actual miles on my Jeep, and have made arrangements for the odometer mileage to be corrected. The only reason I mention the eBay Cluster as being “basically new” was to reference the condition.

Yes the Off Road screen is still in the cluster and works as expected. The Cluster will sync up with the equipment on your Jeep with the noted exception of the mileage. When I first plugged mine in the splash screen was the Rubicon graphic and I scrolled through the gauges and it had the transmission temp gauge (my Jeep is a six speed). The second time I turned it on it switched to the Sport splash and no longer had the automatic trans displays.

A very nice upgrade that gives the dash a premium look.

I have a 22 Willy’s with the base inst. cluster and I want to purchase the upgraded cluster that comes in the “tech pack” the one you have, I’m going to order a brand new oem one but I would like to know how to fix the mileage as my jeep only has a couple hundred miles on it but I am leasing, but most likely purchasing out after it’s up

I had Instrumentclusterstore.com correct the mileage in mine. When I had them fix mine it was about $100 but that was a few years ago. It took about a week to get it back so I had them set it to the anticipated mileage and then drove the Jeep till the mileage matched and then swapped them out.

I believe any part number will work, they will sort themselves out in a couple start cycles. The one thing that ‘might’ be of concern is if you have a 6 speed, there was a recall/flash that updated the cluster and I don’t know how that will play out. If you have an automatic this won’t matter.

Look here:

Fully plug-and-play and they program the cluster for your specific vehicle and mileage.

Have a question for any one that has a 2018 Rubicon JL
I just purchased the jeep last week and went to put in a tazer to make some adjustment
Put when I tried to go to the audio on the dash cluster there is no audio menu in the cluster
Is this a defect or is that the way some models came
Any body know the answer
Thanks

Interesting. I have this menu on my base sport with crank windows, so I would assume everybody have it.

We have both a 2018 Sport and Rubicon and they both have it. Does your Jeep have an aftermarket radio?

It's a screen setup option. You have the Audio option hidden.

Screen Setup
Push and release the up or down arrow button until the Screen Setup Menu Icon/Title is highlighted in the instrument cluster display. Push and release the OK button to enter the submenus and follow the prompts on the screen as needed. The Screen Setup feature allows you to change what information is displayed in the instrument cluster as well as the location that information is displayed.
