New to jeeps and I am still under 200 miles on the vehicle. Just read this regarding the "Off-Road +" button:

"When shifting into 4-Hi under Off-Road Plus mode, you’ll see more responsive acceleration and a change in the way the vehicle performs in softer terrain..."

If just pressing this button in 4hi gives "more responsive acceleration", I assume that the sensitivity of the pedal position sensor is intentionally nerfed in an attempt to claim better mpg and that pressing this button changes the throttle response based on the pedal position. The pedal response does seem sluggish to me, anyone know of a way to get this "more responsive acceleration" during normal driving? This thing desperately needs another 100lbft below 1500rpm, I know the pedal won't give that to me, but more responsiveness isn't going to hurt.

Installed Roar pedal on both my '24 Wrangler & '24 Gladiator. Sport + Level 9 is my favorite for around town. Well worth the money.

Gotcha. I did see these pedal controllers. As I was looking at the tazer for other changes, is this something the tazer can do as well?

What button?

Your engine will feel way more responsive if you keep your RPM’s above 2000.
Exactly, and that's why more low end torque would be great. I would prefer not to drive around with the idle set at 2000rpm to have some grunt. But of course getting additional low end torque isn't going to be solved with the pedal. I just noticed that the function of the offroad+ button "unnerfed" the throttle response.

Flip, notice the "OFF ROAD+" button to the right of the differential lock switch.

@nate0918

Thank you for showing me.
My jeep unfortunately doesn't have that button.

No problem Flip. I was actually wondering how often I would even be pushing that button. From the description, it doesn't seem to do much of anything that someone couldn't do themselves if they had 4wd, lockers, and a gas pedal.

Anyhow, anyone know if throttle sensitivity is something that the tazer can do? The less addons to plug in the better but not a big deal either way.

I'm not sure on the tazer. Enjoy your beautiful new jeep. 👍

Never used my Offroad+ button personally...
Not sure what circumstances would call for it...
Maybe I'm missing a golden ticket...
FWIW- I noticed a big improvement in throttle response getting rid of the massive muffler and going to a smaller dual outlet one...

OR+ increases throttle response and raises shift points as claimed. A Tazer no. A Banks Pedal Monster simply plugs into the OBD2 and doesn’t enhance reverse as opposed to the others. The perpetual throttle controller argument aside I like it (typically run Sport mode level 2) Banks isn’t cheap but is top quality. If you spring for an I-dash (about the same price as the PM) you can adjust the level at will with a button push, no searching your phone to adjust it.
A NoLimitz JL($275) disables “Torque Management” but pricey for the lack of other features useful for a V6 (does disable the speed limiter).

@Flip just knows how to post gifs, buttons are beyond him. 😉

No, Tazer does not have that function. I am reffering to Tazer Mini, not sure about standard Tazer but I am pretty sure it is not a changable item.
