also Rockstopperz for the hinges work well for keeping chips at bay.

This. The first thing that should go on a new Jeep.

The wide OEM side step acts as a mud flap for the front tires.

Looks good! I hate mud flaps as well, but after the first day of driving out of our gravel lot at work and hearing the loud pings of the stones smacking off my doors and fenders, I immediately ordered a set of ugly and ridiculously overpriced RokBlokz for behind the fronts. Still looks kinda dumb, but not super-noticeable. And anyone tailgating me for the first quarter-mile of my journey home.. good luck!
My issue with them is no matter what I do they rub the finish of the rock rails causing them to rust. On my second gladiator and got them again but made the hole a little bigger and they still rub.
I’ve had em on for three years now and have noticed any thing obvious, but I’ll take a closer look.

Aren't Rokblokz easy on and off?

I thought about getting a pair to carry around until I needed, pop on and go.

Around town, no need.
Three thumb screws per side.
For me around town was the worst, especially in the fall with all the leaves and dirt on the side streets.

I got a stone chip on my front passenger door window the first week after bringing my 392 home. I totally couldn't believe it! RokBlokz is the way to go. I've had them on ever since!

I am a rokblokz fan too. no issues and keeps the rock chips and mud under control.. don't really notice them unless you really are looking.
Somehow they look less obtrusive on your Jeep, did you trim them a bit shorter or? Also which size are those?

I actually have both sizes. I run the small with pizza cutters and large with 37’s although in moab just run the small ones even with 37’s

@jadmt thanks, and you got the Rubicon rails cutout? My Willys came with the Rubicon rails. Might not need the cut outs?

If you have a Rubicon with the rails then you need the cutouts. If you have an aftermarket rock rail then you probably do not need the cutouts. I bought the smaller size and they were way too small for my 12.5" wide tires and wheel offset even moved out to their widest position (they can be varied by a few inches inboard and outbourd). I got the XLs and they fit perfectly with the Recon fender extensions at their most outboard position. One of my favorite mods and I hate mud flaps generally. I still get sand and mud on the truck just not nearly as much. Install is a little tricky just be patient.

Yes you want the cut outs with oem rails. I just put on the mopar enhanced rails and cut the cuts to match.
ultimately the smaller ones look better and even with my 37/12.5 actually work really well
