People keep telling me "you need bigger tires" and I'm like yeah I'm going to 35's once I budget for a regear. No need installing bigger tires when the current gearing is marginal at best. Kindof waiting for the warranty to run out before regearing though. That being said, I take my Jeep lots of places most folks don't.

I have an angry grill and I like it. I know I won't keep it forever but that's the great thing about the Jeep. The ability to do things to it that you like and keep changing it up during ownership. The other thing I like about owning a jeep is that the community is actually very acceptable from what I have seen so far. Other groups I have belonged to have been out right horrible in how they treat people that they didn't feel fit in.

from past conversations with my daughter, I've always thought that she was of the same "hate" level regarding the angry grill that MOST forum members are..then, in the middle of our snowpocalypse, I get just a simple text from my daughter: "I just got a free angry grill for my jeep"

Oh yeah totally, people go bigger for looks and I'm guilty of that too. Hardly anyone goes places with their huge tires that their stock Jeep wouldn't have gone. But at least let it run like it did with the small tires. Good for you to have that wisedom and logic. Driving a $60G Jeep that runs like it's always pulling a 1 ton trailer is ridiculous but some self-blindly accept it.
