Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of ordering a 2024 Willys Wrangler and I could use some guidance on pricing. I've configured the vehicle with the Xtreme Recon package and a few additional features, which has brought the net price to $54,750. I'm hoping to negotiate a price below this net amount. Realistically, what should I expect to pay?

I'm also seeking recommendations on where to make this purchase. I currently reside in Wilmington, NC, but I'm open to traveling to another state if it means I can secure a better deal. Additionally, I'm wondering whether it's a good idea to mention that I'll be paying in cash when reaching out to dealerships. Any insights or advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I bought my 2024 Willy’s from Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Anthony was my sales guy. They gave me 12 percent of msrp. Incredible service, constant updating, exactly two months from order to delivery to my door.

I second what @Bill_BCNtoNY said. Go look at that post and the spreadsheet.

TL;DR: There's an affiliate program where a $100 membership gives you the ability to custom order a Jeep (not pick one off the lot) and pay 1% under invoice. Note that's invoice not MSRP. There's plenty of dealerships out there and listed in that thread that will give further discounts, think it goes up to 7 or 8% under invoice at the best ones.

I believe 1% under invoice is usually around 3-4% under MSRP, sometime closer to 5%.

I sent you a DM with two dealers. A long winded thesis with a bunch of info on types of discounts to except. Becoming an FCA affiliate. Numerous links to posts from this forum, link to becoming an FCA affiliate through tread lightly, link to fca affiliate. Along with other info. Hope everything i wrote helps

10% off MSRP of an in stock vehicle would be a good deal right now.

If you get a better price financing it, take it. Then pay it off on the first payment. If you mention cash during negotiations, you will get nowhere unless you’re looking at a 10 year old used car. Dealers make money off of wring loans. Paying cash takes several hundreds of dollars or more off the table for them. And it makes it look like you can easily afford the vehicle with no discounts whatsoever. So don’t mention cash upfront.

What I do is get the best bottom line actual price. I don't talk payments or method of payment until I know what the actual price is going to be.

Not much to add other than Gupton Jeep is just north of Nashville and reasonably close to you. They will place your order for 7% under INVOICE if you belong to Tread Lightly.
Dealer doesn't really care if you pay cash, or not.

Thanks for the info, not too far of a drive and it sounds like I need to join tread lightly.
