Your absolutely correct.
However, Instead of selling the Jeep to me for 7% under invoice they are now free to sell it for more profit. You would think they could show a little compassion as they would make more profit since I was unable to pick it up.
Refunding my deposit would of not hurt...
Be forewarned, If you have any life altering situations where you can not pick up a Jeep that you ordered from them, Gupton will not refund your deposit.
Not trying to be insulting, just presenting facts.
You want to have some fun, ask the chat person a question about the vehicle you are looking at. 99.9% of the time their only mission is to get your name and phone number and they are not even connected with the dealership.
It is another example of a horrible web site. My selling dealer emailed me a list of standard features for the Willys dated Nov 2 and the aux switches are still included.
I was just of Jeeps site building a Willys and now they list the Auxillary switches as a roughly $1200 option.
WTF? If we have a Willys on order are we going to be screwed out of getting the Aux switch option?
I would be shocked if your Jeep ever recovered from this. Flooded vehicles have tons of issues forever. I am only aware of one person who owned one who got it back in working order and he changed just about electronic module.

I'm with you brother. I only lived in TN since 2016 but there are Wranglers everywhere. I see way more here than any other state we visit and we road trip a lot. I can promise you if I drive 13 miles into town I will see at least 10 Wranglers each way.
Ha! I can beat that. In 1977 I paid $6900 for my new CJ7 soft top. No carpet, no rubber mat, no AC, totally bare bones. Didn't even have a 2 speed transfer case.
That $6900 in 1977 is equal to $35K today. A basic Sport would cost that much and it is a MUCH better Wrangler than my 1977 CJ7 was.
