I have never seen this question posted here before, but how do you control the navigation volume. The only way I seem to be able to do it is to catch it while its speaking and quickly turn the radio volume up before it stops talking. There has got to be a better way.

Navi mode > Menu > Settings > Guidance prompts > Volume slide bar

Not easy to do while moving...easier to just tap volume up when its talking.

Yes but problem arises when you have the top down and music volume up (because you have the top down) and the nav speaks and you cant hear it. I guess there is no easy/good way.

I havent played around with it enough to help, but currently my nav volume I cant hear anything, its super super faint.

Also there is nothing worse than a good part of a song about to hit and it mutes off to hear the faint voice of nav guidance

I need to figure out how to mute voice guidance completely.

Is there a speaker icon on the top of the screen? In prior Uconnects I could make the Navi talk by touching that speaker icon; then you can adjust the volume while it talks.

Looks like you can turn if off completely on that menu?
My nav is through the phone/android auto.

I don't have guidance under settings as an option. Got the 11.4" u-connect 2021 JLURe. Any suggestions?

Edit: found it. Have to goto Navigation first, then Nav Settings, then guidance.

If you are using Carplay for Nav. You drop or raise the volume when the nav is talking to you. When it stops talking to you, it switches back to radio volume.
it switches the which volume it's controlling at that particular time.
This right here, takes some getting used to, but it works.

You need to do the same that was mentioned above. Raise the volume while Google Maps on Android Auto is speaking directions.
