How accurate is your GPS navigation?

Generally, the GOTO function seems to be fairly accurate. However, the actual location can be quite a distance off. For example, I input my doctor's office. The NAV function was correct for each turn, etc. but the NAV location was displayed about 1/2 mile from its actual position. The address was correctly displayed but the display on the map screen was off by blocks. NAV even tried to tell me to do a U-turn and go back while I was sitting next to the office door.
I believe that the Jeep GPS is built by Garmin. The Garmin GPS in my Mustang does not display any lakes in Minnesota/Northern Wisconsin and Lake Superior is a large blank area.

I think its well understood that maybe the Jeep's GPS is valuable offroad somewhere remote where cell service is sketchy, otherwise compared to google maps it is just freakin terrible.
