I have a 2024 4xE wrangler and I will like to know how can I setup the volume on the navigation. My issue is that every time I lower the navigation volume to my liking and i turn off the vehicle it goes back to reset volume. its annoying while driving and the volume is high. I lower the volume every time I get in the vehicle but it resets itself. how can I save it to my liking?

There are volume defaults in the audio settings. I use Waze and turned the volume down while the app was talking. Between the two (not sure which) I was able to adjust volume to the correct level.

i will try to do it by adjusting the volume on my phone. but this happens every time i turn off the vehicle or the radio. I tried adjusting it in every way possible and it always comes back to the reset volume of 15.

I just use the volume knob when the "person" is giving you directions. This seems to hold it at that volume when I turn the Jeep off and on.

There are separate volume settings for maps/nav vs. music/radio/podcasts. They are accessible via the the digital menu. You can also adjust via dial or steering wheel buttons while the navigation is talking, or the music is playing -- but you will only be adjusting for the current feature, not both

It sounds like yours specifically might have a bug/glitch, though. Which nav app are you using?

I just went through (what I thought was) every setting in the @#%@#% menu, and I didn't see the volume settings I know were there. The closest I found was a nav volume in the setting specifically for the built in nav. I'm sure I saw the two volumes stacked. I'll ask my kid -- he's the one who usually messed with them

My ‘24 Rubicon does it too (it will not remember the volume settings for phone call, phone ring, nav, or VR…always defaults back to 15 after a key cycle).

I have tried every option I can think of…using the rotary volume while the app is talking, adjusting in the menu, using different profiles, etc…nothing works.

My version is FCA-MY24.U29.44-PROD and I believe I have the latest software update…the vehicle is only one week old.

Pretty frustrating indeed.

Well…I was reading some old threads and it appears that the 2018 models had this “feature” as well. Those models would always default back to a volume level of 12 after a key cycle unless the volume was set higher than 12…in that case it would remember thvalue.

I guess I better get used to the FCA “feature”.

When you’re adjusting the volume for stereo a menu option appears at the top of the screen. Select it and you’ll be able to adjust the volume for a wide variety of things.
