Or more importantly, you can't go offroading without the extended turn signal lever so that you can warn the squirrels when you need to make a turn on the trail.

I am going to have to get a gym membership since our new rig is coming with the heavy, mpg lowering, front end sagging, fake scooped(I think) Mopar "performance" hood.

Rival here, I think they're some goofy combination of Australia/Texas, but use German struts. They're holding up perfectly and still open/hold today exactly as they did on day 1.

I’m another vote for Redline. I’m at 6.5 years, and my jeep is stored inside with the hood open and struts under load about 75% of the time.

Don't knock the hood struts until you try them. My life changed after installing the Rival hood strut kit. The birds sing in the morning with the rising sun!

The hood lifts on it's own when you open it and no prop in the way. Driving Jeeps we need to check under the hood frequently to check fluid levels and for those mysterious noises. Life is good!
