Hood Strut Kit

Hello, one gas spring will not hold up the hood. When we design our systems we like to have even lifting force on both sides of the hood. We have developed a few "mono" systems, but only when the vehicle had a very short and light hood. The Jeep hood is too heavy and long and using only one gas spring to lift the hood would lead to undo twisting stress.

Thumbs up to @Redline Tuning. This is a well-designed hood strut system. It has a great "no drill" design and took me less than 15 minutes to install. 5-star customer service also! Highly recommended!

Caution... Don't overtighten the hood bracket bolts because the silver back plate will bend. Suggest using a dab of blue threadlocker.

Working in an auto shop, we see about half the cars we work on have failed hood struts. I’ve never seen a failed hood prop.

How come no gift for cats? (I'm writing this under duress from my cat). My cat happens to be a 2 year old Cheetah with best friend dalmation "Spotty". They are best friends and very warm to humans that show respect.
