@Tredsdert is giving out custom air fresheners. I seed it
You know it's actually funny because I did order 9 and 10 of those AliExpress air fresheners...@Tredsdert is giving out custom air fresheners. I seed it
I'd have to look and see if I have any Psyducks left. Let me check tonight, and if so I'll shoot you a DM and you give me your address and I'll ship you one.If I could win one of his psyducks, I could make the wife's day by psyducking her Jeep

Photos and part numbers have been redacted to protect future business opportunitiesCan someone point me to where Stabilus struts are made in America? I've seen a couple people present that information, but I can't find it anywhere on their website, and the photo of stabilus struts earlier in this thread said Made In Germany.

How crazy would it be if @Redline Tuning was actually getting their gas springs from Stabilus.https://www.stabilus.com/company/locations
This is what I was saying about them being a parent company. They clearly have a lot of subsidiaries.
Also while I'm on their site, check out all those job they're hiring for:

I wonder if you couldn't contact one of those individual locations and place a small order of struts..
I would do it, but I need to finish my suspension corrections before I jump down that rabbit hole.![]()

I looked at that. There are also Stabilus offices in Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Romania, France, Italy, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and India. Just cause there are manufacturing jobs in the states that are associated with the company doesn't mean the struts are made here. Case in point, the tons of Stabilus struts marked "Made in Germany." Continuing to espouse them as "Made in USA" struts is just incorrect.https://www.stabilus.com/company/locations

Okay so I just got another genius idea...How crazy would it be if @Redline Tuning was actually getting their gas springs from Stabilus.
I mean they're getting there struts from a supplier, not from a manufacturer. For all we know you might be buying Stabilus struts from them.
And then the crazy part is, @Redline Tuning wouldn't even know If the struts they're selling are Stabilus because they're not buying from the manufacturer, they are buying from a supplier.
In that sense too, for all we know their "New York State" supplier could be selling them Chinese struts. I guess it's one of those situations where you're just enough removed that you can claim ignorance.
I wonder if it's going to be another 3 years for them to tell us where their supplier is getting their struts from?
Okay so I just got another genius idea...
The likelihood of @Redline Tuning contacting their supplier and seeing where they actually purchased their struts from is probably pretty low, and probably even lower that they would share that information with us.
People in this thread previously posted pictures of their struts with manufacturer stamps on them. @Redline Tuning already admitted they purchase sleeves from some company here in the USA...
What do you want to bet if I cut the sleeves off of my @Redline Tuning hood struts, I can find a manufacturer stamp on the strut itself!?
It's worth a try! I'm not sure I'm going to have a chance to do tonight but if not I'll definitely do it this weekend. They're trying to get us off early tomorrow so that we can get home before the storm hits so maybe I'll have a chance to do it tomorrow If not today.
Also I'll make sure to film it all in one video so that way no one cries wolf about a edited post.
That would be awesome! Wear PPE please : )Okay so I just got another genius idea...
