I have a 2021 Wrangler JL and i recently installed a Curt 56407 hitch wiring kit. The right rear taillight seems to be okay but the left has no lights? All wires are in a chase. Reseated the plug on the left trail light several times but still no lights? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Just to be clear, the trailer's left light isn't working now, or the Jeep's isn't? Or both?

Sorry, the left light is not working, thanks.

Ah ok, now I understand. But just for the other folks here who aren't as intelligent as I am, are we talking about the left trailer light, or the left jeep light, or both?

If the tail light connectors were unplugged and reconnected during the installation process -- and it seems they were -- unplug the left tail light connector again and examine the male side for bent pins.

Yea, the whole fixture wasn't working. I forgot to plug the feed connector back into the new wiring. Found the original feed connector laying in the bottom. Just old age with bad eyes. All good now. Thanks everyone. This is my first Jeep and this is a great foruum.

No matter what happened leading up to it, it’s always a win when you figure it out.
