I have Method 312 wheels that have pretty much the same specs as yours and running 315 KO2’s on a JLU Sahara and a Sahara axels are shorter than Rubicon axels and my setup sticks out close to 3” or it appears to be close to 3”

I’m running American Racing ATX 202 17x9 with -12 offset & Mopar lift. 37x12.50 KO2. Couple angles here. I think it gives the Jeep a really good stance. Only “downside” I’ve had is that the side of the Jeep gets a lot more dirty because road mud/water spits up outside the fender well.

I’m looking for a -6 offset as tht seems to clear most of the aftermarket lifts.. I currently have the mopar but will be swapping it out... just know the farther u pull the offset out... the more strain u cause to ur ball joints. Not a deal breaker by any stretch.. just letting u know

You should post this in the tire/wheel section. Lots of good info there.

But to answer your question, the ideal offset for JL wheels that are 8.5" to 9.0" wide is +12 to +25mm. If you stay in that range, it'll be perfect. The tire tread will just barely stick out from the fenders.

If you go 0mm or even into the negatives, you're going to really start pushing a lot of tire tread outside. That is illegal in some states, but more importantly it throws mud, gravel, sand, road salt, etc. all over the paint on your Jeep and it puts other drivers around you at risk for damage or cracked windshields.

Thanks, so if I get you right, considering that i want to go 37 with jlu rubicon, I should try to get in the +12 to +25 offset, do you think rubbing issues will arise?

I don't see why they would. +18, for example, is still much farther out than +44.45 which is what the factory wheels are. Lots of guys are running that offset. Mine are +10 and are perfect with just a tad bit of tread outside the fender, but my tires are 34x11.50 so not quite as wide as what you'll run.

Roll +20 offset. Will stick out .9”. You have to call fuel to get part number for +20 offset. +1 offset seems to be the sweet spot.
