Finally received my JCR bumper bar for the steel bumpers on Rubicon. Went to install and one side went perfectly, as I went to the other side to finish bolting down, only 1 of the 3 bolts on the left side would go back in. I have never touched these bolts other than removing them before this. It seems as if the “bolt holes” themselves are stripped. These bolts went in perfectly to any other slot. Even removed the bumper bar altogether and they still would not go back in. They just spin in place. Any ideas? See images below, thanks in advance

I'd try using a tap & chase the threads if they won't start & thread in.

They just spin in place.
Did the threaded end of the bolt get damaged such that the entry point to the thread is closed off?

That is exasperating. Can you post a close-up image of the end of the bolt?

No panic, It’s not the bumper that is threaded, it’s just c clips under the bumper. Just get new ones. Happened to me when I switched from the mopar to the warn bar. But I managed to get the 2 problematic clips to bolt-in again.

Can you just use the ones that are on the sides that were used to hold the endcap bolts? I haven't looked inside of my bumper but by a mfg standpoint it would make sense that they use the same style of clip in the middle and on the ends.
