Yes, it is the thinner of the two wires, though not by much. That was the location on my '21 and my '25, connected directly to the terminal. The post on the left that the other wire is connected to goes along with the negative wire you're removing so you mount the other wire in the location on the right. You do lose that grounding post , but you can replace it.From a ton of posts I read, it appears that the position of that cable could be on the either side, so my understanding is that it should always be the thinner of the two cables (the thicker is the main battery ground)...
Removing that wire and pulling fuse 42 is all you need to do to delete the aux. If you're not physically removing the aux battery be sure to tape off the end of the wire.
