HELP!! What is this???

I have a 2021 JLUR stock suspension with 2900 miles on it. It has been in 4H a dozen times or so pulling my boat out of a slippery ramp, and nothing crazy off-road yet. The sound bite is in first gear, rolling slowly and steering back and forth. Thanks for any help!

Early on there was an issue with clicking as you were turning the wheel and it was due to the ball joints not being torqued correctly, I have a 2018 and it was addressed by the dealer shortly after I got it, that may be your issue.

I listened to some of the sound bites from that thread. Sounds like the same issue. Any clue what the torque specs are for the ball joints?

I have a 2021, the issue still exits. I heard the clicking, went under there and torqued the lower ball joints and all is good now.

You typically just want to advance the castle nut to the next hole and then reinsert the cotter pin. As the ball joint wears normally you'll start to hear it again later on, this is normal behavior for the most part though - once your ball joints are worn and ultimately need replacing I would go with an upgraded set. The stock ones have plastic internals.

Second number is Ft Lbs

That's exactly what it was. I advanced the castellated nut two holes and reinstalled the cotter pin. It is an issue no more! Thanks all for the help!
