If you blew a head gasket the oil on your dipstick and/or your coolant will start to look like chocolate milk.

Sorry about your troubles- I’ve also been watching your other threads concerning the 2.0 and coolant level concerns. Hopefully you find someone to help you. Bought my 2022 Willys Sport new and I’ve had coolant concerns starting at about a thousand miles. Usually drive around 200 miles during the week. I’m at 13k miles now and every Saturday morning I religiously check my coolant while cold and on a level surface. It’s usually low and needs anywhere between 1 to 3 cups to top it off. I’ve made multiple attempts to get the dealership to diagnose it. I've decided that they are not going to fix it until it’s delivered to them on a flatbed with a blown engine. I check the engine bay top & bottom, radiator, heater core and all the hoses weekly. I’ve replaced the black coolant recovery bottle, multiple hoses and the cap/dipstick all out of my own pocket. I’ve even purchased the correct coolant pressure testing kit. Done the TSB’s and I can find no leaks or loss of pressure. The Jeep still runs great but something’s wrong somewhere. Oddly, maybe every 3rd Saturday when I check the coolant it will actually read full. I love my little Jeep but if I had to add coolant daily I would have to reluctantly pass it on. Also, there is a another poor soul on here that’s actually got a milkshake in his coolant reservoir and the dealership basically topped it off and told them it’s fine and gave it back.

That's awful. My concern is that no visible leaks now oil coming from exhaust. Oil color is fine though. Sitting in a repair shop parking lot that the used car dealership sent me to. Pretty sure the head gasket is involved.

I never owned a car where the coolant had to be checked on a regular basis. This is bullshit.

Best guess without knowing more details: Head gasket
YEP!

He may or may not notice the white smoke which is tell tale in most cases...hopefully he is in warranty.

If or when you're able to arrange it, consider sending a used oil sample to a testing lab for analysis. This will determine what contaminants, if any, are in the engine oil. That will of course include engine coolant (antifreeze).

Having the hardcopy report in your hands will allow you to confirm problematic oil content, if present, and/or serve as a redundant check against whatever the dealer or garage is claiming is or isn't wrong with the engine in your Jeep.

This is the company I use. They do provide free, post-paid testing kits to make things easy for the owner.

If or when you decide to have your oil tested, PM me and I'll walk you through the correct collection & submission procedure.
I'm waiting on a pressure test. Mechanic said this will determine if coolant is flowing into head gasket. Hopefully he knows his shit.

I'd wager the OP is a She, Don. ;)
Its a different world we are living in today....

I was in the Grocery store a few days ago and the 'guy' checking me out, had on a name tag, that said "Brad" and Brad was taller than me (6' 2"). I did find the fingernails were quite long and polished in black. As I left I said: Thanks Brad.

I am back a few days later in his checkout line. He remembers me since I wear a Cowboy hat not something you see much of here in Florida. I make my buy and say: Thanks Brad...he says: My customers call me Brandy...I get a good look at him or is it a her???

LOL GLAD to hear. I did not doubt you were! Over the years the women I have met in Jeeping are ALL woman, ALL the time.

Here is a friend of mine who probably know as much about Jeeps as almost any I know in all my years jeeping. She can wrench with the best of them.

She is well known across the US. Nena Barlow owns https://sedonajeeprentals.com/

I have known her for over 20 years, and wheeled with her in AZ, Cali, and Moab, she is a great gal! She based in Sedona if you get out that way, you need to meet her...

sad to see this. unfortunately, guess number 1 is that is why a used car dealership has it, and why the last owner got rid of it.....something is up, and could be expensive and someone was running from a problem. there are a bunch of threads on the 2.0 leaking from a specific spot. but youd see it there. if its that, its a super easy fix. if not, its hard to say

Linda, you may want to try this if this is not a good time for you to otherwise get it fixed.

I have been using this since the 1960s on our ranch truck, Tractors and it does work.

One of our ranch trucks was a 59 Chevy. V 8 and it blew a head gasket. I put this in and it fixed it and when we sold the ranch truck about 8 years later it still working and it never failed.

Bar's Leaks has been around since 1947...

Did the used car dealer give you any warranty?

Like someone mentioned earlier is there a possibility that the Jeep powertrain warranty will cover any repairs?

Good luck!
