I would think that if true, people would not be complaining about slow response times.
Better to assume that people will complain no matter what.

Thanks for all of your answers to everybody's questions. What sources do you two use for answering all of these questions? In other, not so blunt terms, the info that you've been giving us is it accurate? I'm only asking this because a lot of questions people have been given answers to throughout this forum have varied considerably from factory Reps and FCA in general.

My main concern is when I can order a Sting Gray 2 door hard top? There has never been a definite date set for Sting Gray availability. Jasmine has stated "next month". We've read from other FCA sources mid to the end of March.

The hard top is supposedly on 'restrictive' status, what does that mean? I've spoken with my local dealer and they're having no problems ordering JL/JLU's with hard tops with any restrictions.
Just ordered a 2-door hardtop over the weekend and was not advised of any " restriction" .... do we have confirmation anywhere that 2-door production is actually underway as per the schedule?

Not trying to be a dick, seriously, but next month is March...
Do you know what the word ā€œdefiniteā€ means? Just because the two posts on this forum vaguely state a time frame does not mean it will actually happen as stated. The fact that I was directing the question to someone else, who may or may not have the ā€œdefiniteā€ exact available date and not you was the intent of this thread.

Ya know, I've not commented on this thread until now, but have kept a keen eye on it from the start. I'm a moderator on another forum and a member of several others. I find the fact that Jeep has placed employees on this site to monitor, run checks and answer questions directly to us to be absolutely the best support I've ever seen from a manufacturer!! I am truely impressed and feel the need to congratulate Jeep for their attitude toward us, the consumer. And many thanks to Julie and Jasmine for their role here. I've never, personally, seen such dedication from a major manufacturer, ever. Kudos and thank you!
I couldn't agree more, well said!

@JeepCares you have all been very helpful over there and we thank you for your time. I think the single greatest thing you could do would to be getting VOTS up and running again. That would probably alleviate 90% of your call volume.

That an etaā€™s on all the mopar parts. Thatā€™s the two things I feel like people want most.

Can you give us details on the Anti Spin Diff/D44 rear axle option (DSA) when ordering a 6 speed manual transmission (DEM). Others on this forum have confirmed that when ordering a 6 speed manual (DEM) it now requires the Anti Spin Diff/D44 rear axle option (DSA). Why is that? Is this a new development from engineering or simply a parts supply shortage that will be corrected?

The Jeep online configurator still allows you to build a 6 speed manual without selecting the Anti Spin Differential Rear Axle option. If required, this raises the base MSRP by $595.

Thank you.
@Jeepcare Can you answer this? it was added on my Sport manual order and was told it was required now??
DSA Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle $595

Do you know what the word ā€œthreadā€ means? Youā€™ve misused it twice, in as many days.

Iā€™ve seriously never seen someone so anal and/or butthurt over a color that is still in its projected window of delivery.... you even asked an entire forum to stop discussion over. The only thing more baffling is how you function in society. Good luck with that.

Hi,

You guys are awesome. Been reading your posts and responses. My jeep, ordered on 1/11 went to D1 on 1/20 and was built around 2/5. I have been languishing in JB for a week. Can you help me understand this? No mods to my car so why at body vendor if it passed inspection.

A buddy of mine ordered his 1 week ago today and today he went into E.

Sent a PM to your handle with specific order information

thank you for any help you can provide.

I'm not anal over a specific color as you so think. Do you have the capacity to read and fully take in an entire conversational topic? From what I've seen from you; the answer is a resounding no. Elementary School English must not have been a fun subject for you.

I never asked an entire forum to stop discussion over this. I simply stated and meant; don't past judgement on what you think a color may be until you do what was shown to get a picture of Punk'N to be accurate. If I offended anyone, I'm sorry; it wasn't meant to be this way.

It does me no good to gloss over my disdain with FCA I voiced in that other posting and my reasoning that I already have wrote about. You just don't seem to get it; I have nothing more to say to you or anything concerning this topic. It's very difficult to have an intelligent conversation with someone who only sees a very small portion of the story.
