Hello AriRebel,

Ordering for the Hella Yella color is expected to start production in May. Please note this date is subject to change.

If you can respond to the production start date of Hella Yella, why can't you respond to the question of when Sting Gray will be available? This is not the first time someone has asked you this question.

Hi @JeepCares ,

What's the policy on fixing vs exchanging new vehicles with major/minor issues?

I have an issue where my JLUR had to be towed within its first 65 miles, explained here. It happened over the weekend and haven't been offered a courtesy vehicle yet.

Thanks,

Stuart

Its probably going to come down to the lemon law in your state and your dealer support working with Chrysler....I had a buy back of a 97 TJ, it took more then 1 trip to the dealer, but ultimately after several frustrating issues I received a new 98 TJ...these types of things are not cut and dry....Good luck!

They don’t respond to the private messages for delivery status.
I sent one a few days ago and no reply, so don’t waste your time.

They are only interested in folks who are having problems with the JL they have taken delivery of. Anything else is not really a concern.
Hi James,

Since joining the forum, we have had an influx of messages and do apologize for any delay. We generally answer messages in the order it was received. I see that Julie responded to your message and she will continue assisting from there.

@JeepCares

Here are some good points of contention / issues with the new JL that need addressing. The keyless FOB / push button start being #1.

Give us the option of a real physical mechanical key like the JK had! I don't want to compromise reliability and durability for the sake of being "cool" or because it's "new and different". I want a physical key / ignition, damn it!

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...you-dont-like-about-the-new-jl-wrangler.2995/
You do realize your "mechanical key" ignition is actually an electronic ignition. (this is why in a modern car you can turn the key and hold it, the vehicle will start and not continue to try and start, admit it we have all turned the key on a running vehicle and it made that terrible I am already running but you idiot are trying to start me anyway) In simplistic terms, the real diffrence is modern keys have an RFID chip in the key that allows it to start while the FOB has a similar chip but is battery powered and has further range. This is cars with keyless ignition have a slot somewhere in the vehicle where if the battery dies you can place it (or hold it on the button) and the car will start. The key is now close enough to the vehicle reciever that it give is the go ahead. Do you also complain about electronic E-Brakes, because now you cannot do a proper slide.

Yeah same here. I sent a message on the 8th and have yet to get anything back. Even a reply saying that isn't what we do would have been better than no reply

Well not so much of a problem in a lifted Jeep that is prone to roll over, however now that you mention it.... Yes electronic e-brakes and not being able to slide across a snowy parking lot in my wife’s car does piss me off.

Jasmine and Julie,
I ordered a Punk'n Metallic Rubicon the day this color option was released. At that time, the only interior option available was tan leather. A few days after I placed my order, other interior options became available, but I did not change my order because I did not want to delay my delivery by a couple of days. Early this week the first Punk'n colored Jeep arrived at a delership and pictures began showing up on this forum. That's when my problems began. Members were outraged and made many derogatory comments about the color, which made me feel sad. By the end of the week, the negative comments began to moderate and a couple of members actually said that the liked Punk'n. I began to feel happy again. Now, there are a number of members that absolutely despise the tan colored seats, and my feelings are back in the doldrums. Will you please ask them to knock it off with the negative comments, already? Don't they have any compassion for their fellow forum members?
Hi Ls7,
We think that's a kick a** color combo! We wouldn't make it an option if we didn't think it was the best.
