I ordered my 2022 Wrangler JLU Rubicon in 2022 just like I wanted it. I ordered it with the premium soft tops, Extreme Recon Package, Steel Bumper Group, LED Lighting Group, Painted Fenders, and the list goes on. 14 Months after ownership, the first engine went (3.6 eTorque). At the time, there were just over 500 of the engines on backorder so It took what seemed like forever to get the replacement engine in. I got the jeep back on 6/30 and all was great for a few weeks. The Engine started making some unhealthy noises, so I took it back to the dealership where I purchased it on 8/22. The Diagnosis after two weeks at the dealership was that it needed a new engine again. I opened a case with @JeepCares once I got the diagnosis as there were over 900 of those engines on back order.

@JeepCares,

It's been a couple of weeks now since my caseworker with @JeepCares has reached out and I have left numerous messages. Can someone reach out to me on this? My concerns are that my warranty is dwindling every day it's in the shop and I'm going to get stuck with an expensive paper weight after my warranty is over. Also, I have no idea where it's at as my rep is non-responsive.

Any help is appreciated.

Jeep Cares doesn’t care. I have less expensive problems and they figure if they ignore you hopefully you will go away. I am truly disappointed with Jeep and what they are putting out at this time.

Infuriating is an understatement. I have owned 6 Wranglers and 1 Gladiator in my lifetime. My wife has always Driven Grand Cherokee's. The last couple of years have been rough due to issues with our vehicles and she has since changed over to a Lexus. how do I get faith back in my vehicle after something like this? It seems as though the Factory Warranty will run out due to time in the shop and I haven't been able to drive it as much as I would like to. The lack of response from the dealer as well as Jeep is sickening.

I've been wondering if they were part of the strike. I call everyday and have yet to get any response.
According to their profile on here they were last seen 9 minutes ago, I'm starting to think Kate is dodging you.

They must be. I called for today and the only thing I get is "Leave a Voicemail for X7830". One question I have that maybe someone on here can answer is as follows: My jeep came with a 36 Month 36k Limited Warranty and a 60 Month 60k mile powertrain warranty. Does my warranty just keep ticking as it sits in the shop or does any of it get extended due to the amount of time it has been in the shop? After the 36k warranty, would this type of failure be covered under my powertrain warranty?

The warranty just keeps ticking. However an engine failure falls under the 60m/60k powertrain warranty. Some people that have experienced major failures have been able to persuade Jeep into providing them with an extended warranty.

Thank you for the input and that's pretty much what I thought. To add to this mess, I finally received word from my advisor from Jeep Cares about half an hour ago, and she said that she talked with the dealership and all parts were in. I then called the dealership, and they said nothing had been ordered yet as they were waiting on Jeep to approve the repair. Does anyone know what is truly going on?

I also mentioned to the Jeep Cares representative that I felt like an extended warranty would help me feel better about keeping the vehicle and wondered if something like this could be done. After all, this is the third engine (Including the Original) in 17,093 miles and I don't want to get stuck with a huge bill later on should it need a 4th. She then stated that they don't do that, and I would need to reach out to the dealership. I think not only is my jeep a Dud, but so is the person working the case.
