Total tangent from your post - cute dog! Do you ever worry about wild life when letting your small dog off leash while camping? Only ask because I've had large dogs my whole life and never had a reason to worry about it - for the most part - but now have a little French bulldog/pug mix and...

Friend of mine is looking at this jeep tonight. I told him it doesn't look too bad for the price to me, but reminded him JKs can be pretty hit or miss. I thought it would be a good idea to solicit opinions from you fine folks. What do you think...
Hi everyone,
I was traveling and needed my oil changed so I stopped in a shop out of town. Fast forward a few months later and I'm home trying to do one on my own only to find the drain plug is completely rounded. Anyone know what the easiest/cheapest way to get that off would be?
Also, has...
I think $250/wheel (no tire) would be the highest you could reasonably expect to receive. However, if you post them on eBay and Facebook for $4K (literally in shock people would pay that) then maybe you'll find someone who doesn't care enough to look for a better deal.
I do and run them at 37 PSI. They're quiet at 37 and the wear has been pretty even. You could run less if you want a more comfortable ride but you'll be adding some extra road noise and will reduce your MPG a little by doing so.
Fair point! I would add that it seems people who have had the SoT for a few years are only now running into issues with the longevity of the new top. Perhaps we just need to give Stelantis time to react to these issues (generous thinking). I'm in the camp of not buying new tech from brands with...
That's crazy! I still want a SoT one day, but I guess I will wait for them to iron out the kinks a little more. The water in the door happens to me and I have the traditional hard top. Obviously the water in the seat is HIGHLY concerning.
Nice rig! Also nice little garage/driveway setup you have there. Looks like a really nice neighborhood! One thing I noticed on your hardtop lift: make sure you have something supporting the weight of the hardtop across the bottom. Otherwise you may run the risk of the top warping overtime.
Here you are sir @The Last Cowboy
Because the Mojave wheels have a slightly less positive offset, and due to the tires themselves being wider than the firestones, the wheels now have a fraction of an inch of poke. They're 33s vs 32s but no rubbing issues with such a small increase. This jeep is...
They came stock on my Willys and at first I loved them, especially the look. I've taken them through some serious dry/wet trails and found their off-road performance to be very solid. However, they're louder than I can tolerate now that I have 20K miles on them. I recently swapped them out for a...
They're neither great, no terrible with snow. That said, I've seen this question asked many times here and the general rule people reply with is it's best to go outside periodically during heavy snowfall to clear the roof so that it's not all building up upon your SOT.
A lot of what you wrote aligns with my views too! One thing to note though. There is less need for assembly line employees with electric vehicles. Most of the assembly is being done by the most current assembly line technology as they have just recently been put into place. As I understand it, a...
