Once again you actually don't discuss any law just your thoughts. Also in the Liebeck case McDonalds had to pay so much because they were warned about how hot their coffee was previously and even paid out settlements to the plaintiffs got punitive damages.
Locking your doors is actually...
@Rahneld not accurate. nothing like an internet lawyer.
Auto manufactures are responsible for "Normal use" of a vehicle and courts have stated that normal use "encompasses all reasonably foreseeable uses and misuses of the product." If it is a foreseeable misuse then the adequacy of the...
Free market, they will slowly raise prices until sales numbers drop (there is a price point that will effect sales) and then although FCA won't lower the price, dealers will indorder to keep making sales.
I bought a new Elantra when I graduated college (a long time ago) I put over 100,000 hard miles on it and then gave it to my inlaws who put another 60,000 miles on it until they hit a deer and totaled it. I see this as a win, it is no less American than FCA owning it.
Call the dealership and say I am out. No deposit, no loss. Also without a deposit they could just sell your "order" and you wouldn't have any recourse.
When people speak about reliability the biggest issue is bias and sample size. I had a Tacoma and a Civic and both of them were a POS more problems than any-other vehicles; while my TJ, JK, GC, and Silverado I have owned had what I would classify as typical car issues. That doesn't translate...
I would say that by giving you a no cost loaner and reordering at a lower price, the dealership has made you whole. If we assume the dealers actions constituted a breach of contract, a court is going to make the Plaintiff whole. IF you could show the dealership has a history of this or acted...
Mortgages are 30 days and Auto Loans are 14 days. You can get 30 hard requests in 14 days and it has the same effect as 1; the system was changed about 10 years ago to encourge people to shop for better intrest rates.
Did you ever hear anything? I would love some factory half doors, so much better than full door. Also why couldn't we have some frameless window surrounds. (convertables have had these for years)
One of the biggest issues I have is at this price point, most drivers need the vechile for a dual purpose a daily driver and weekend off roader. Yes I do expect more when I pay more. Again there are lots of other convertables out there that don't have this problem, it is not new nor...
I am always amazed at "it is a jeep thing" While that may be true for some items, there are other convertables out there that do not have this issue/problem. This is not a problem that is unique due to the nature of a jeep's capabilites (which would make it a jeep thing)
Sorry, freedom of speech (something a forum BTW doesn't offer) isn't a license for taking stabs at a disability, much that I appreciate that that probably wasn't your intention, but rather to compare it to reading/writing while drunk without malintent.
You are correct that freedom of speech...
Some green, 10 diffrent greys and 1 green that I have yet to see in person. (which is required before I will order because of FCA's terrible translation from brocure to vehicle.)
