I think the @Hothead Headliners make a big difference wrt temperature. My wife and I take a lot of road trips in our Jeep. The heat radiating from the freedom panels can get quite intense during the summer months. The headliners on the freedom panels make the our heads less hot.It makes zero difference. I have had it and the only difference it made was my wallet being lighter... and that's it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply engaging in confirmation bias.
I will change my mind if there is empirical testing that objectively shows a noticeable difference in noise reduction in a Jeep Wrangler... Until then, save your money.
