If you've ever considered getting an AEV front bumper, the 20" fog light bar underneath is awesome in snow. I was shocked at how well it shows snow contrast. You actually know what's in front of you instead of just a blob of white.

Amber lights down low on the bumper work well in snow. Nacho makes a kit that fits in the factory bumper or any aftermarket bumper that accepts factory fog lights.

You’re not crazy — that’s actually pretty common in snow. Bright white headlights can reflect straight back at you off the snowflakes. A lot of people have better luck with amber or yellow light in snow and fog since it cuts through the reflection instead of bouncing back. Even running amber fogs or ambers lower to the ground can make a noticeable difference.

Also worth checking that your headlights are aimed correctly — if they’re even a little high, snow will make it way more obvious.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have factory LED headlights and fogs, never use high beams in snow or fog and tried just the fogs, but it was far too dark for just fogs. I've never had any vehicle throw light above the hood directly in front of the vehicle. I'm thinking maybe some type of headlight shroud and or some auxiliary amber lights.

What are the settings to run the fog lights without the headlights?
