try to find some OEM takeoffs in the Marketplace here or on FB Marketplace. They are great lights. I have the Rough Country LED's. While normally not a fan of RC stuff I found these on their Scratch and Dent site for $199 so I figured it was worth a try. 2 years later I have been pleasantly surprised. They give off great light with nice cutoff so I am very pleased, especially since they were cheap.

Others will say just upgrade to LED bulbs but the halogen housings are really built for LED's so results can be very mixed.

From the looks (the angle doesn't help), it looks like you have halogen headlights. Quick and easy way out, LED bulbs to slide in to the factory reflectors. Easy way out that is. Aside from that, there are a ton of headlights you can install. All depends on what you're looking for. Many upgrade the halogen bulbs to LED. Many want the HALO option. And some even want the RGB feature HALO. Like I said, lots of options to the end user. Some folks run a 7 inch headlight with an adaptor (I will never get that one). Or, most stick to the 9 inch. PLUG AND PLAY, you'll see just having to tap a wire or two, and simply plug the rest into the factory harness is the best way to go. Narrow things down with what options YOU want for YOUR Jeep. Keep in mind, YOU are the one who has to be happy with this upgrade. Keep updates coming, folks learn from others adventures... :) Good Luck

When I had my 19JLU I swapped out my bulbs with the oracle LED’s which worked great for me. In addition I got some diode dynamics LED fogs in yellow and kept them running with the headlights.

My Jeep came with halogen (because it's ridiculous that a $56K vehicle in 2021 wouldn't come with LED everything) and I upgraded to LED bulbs (in the halogen housings) last fall, I believe.

Overall, the LEDs are much better than the halogen, and significantly cheaper than a full LED conversion. I did my best to aim them, too (PLEASE aim yours). However, I've ridden in Jeeps that had LED from the factory and it's much better.

I would say, it goes:

halogen < LED bulbs < LED housings

If you can afford to do a full LED swap, do that. If you can't, the bulbs will hold you over and are still better than the halogen.

Whatever you do, PLEASE AIM THEM PROPERLY AFTER INSTALL.

Please aim your headlights properly.

Also, just in case, if you swap to LED (bulbs or housing), please make sure you aim them properly.

I will look into different bulbs. Last owner I think messed with them because they are aimed pretty high! Thank you though I will be looking into some LEDs

Oracle are the only ones I found with a heated lens. I didn't think I needed it, then it snowed, twice. I drove at night with it slowly getting darker and darker and darker until I couldn't see and I pulled over because I thought it was snowing too heavily, nope, my Diode Dynamics were just covered in ice.

Want to buy mine so I can get the Oracles?

I can almost guaranty that you will get better headlight beam coverage by getting rid of that grille.

Cry about it. It’s not coming off. And it doesn’t cover my lights at all so know what you’re talking about before you say anything. Thanks!!

Not crying, and I do know. Look how far the grille sticks out on the side of your lights. Cant argue physics.

You asked for light advice. I gave you some. Deal. :like:

Have you seen my jeep in person? No. Just from the angle that’s from the SIDE. Not front so no not physics either! Nice try though.

The only upgraded headlamps I'd ever recommend are the OEM LED upgrade kits. I believe they're just rebranded J.W. speaker headlamps.

No, he's right. Your grille will impact the beam towards the center of your vehicle. If you looked closely at night you'd notice the beam is noticeably weaker towards the center.

Removing it won't do terribly much with the stock base headlamps, but it'd certainly help.
