The only upgraded headlamps I'd ever recommend are the OEM LED upgrade kits. I believe they're just rebranded J.W. speaker headlamps.



No, he's right. Your grille will impact the beam towards the center of your vehicle. If you looked closely at night you'd notice the beam is noticeably weaker towards the center.

Removing it won't do terribly much with the stock base headlamps, but it'd certainly help.

Ive owned this jeep before and after the grille. There isn’t any difference. Soooo?

I have the Diode Dynamics on my JT, and the Rough Country ones on the wife's JLU. If I had to compare the 2 side by side, I think I would have to take the RC ones, as they are brighter, farther. And half the price. And if you get them on sale, they will be an even better deal.

But really, I really like my Lasfit LED bulbs. I also got their LED fog lights which switch from white to amber.

I used Sealight S1 H13/9008 bulbs & it made a world of difference. The stock halogens at night in the rain were scary. It's very odd why the Jeep's lights are poor, I've driven many vehicles with halogens that are far better. Perhaps they are trying to force people into the very pricey LED option.
