Hard top wind noise

This is the loudest wind noise/road noise I’ve gotten. It’s only this loud whenever it is really windy outside and going at high speeds. Are people getting this similar noise?

High winds here in Maryland and I've gotten a few weird noises, but no air coming in, more coming across the vehicle producing an odd intermittent tone. (almost like Morris code). Sounds odd, I know. But again, extremely high winds 30-50mph gusts.

This is my first Jeep Wrangler , so I do not have comparison reference to previous models, but it is definitely starting to get noisy above 40MPH. Around the 65MPH highway speed it is kinda loud and need to talk loudly to hear each other, definitely not like the whisper quiet BMW sedan...
Of course, the Wrangler is a big box with vertical windshield and a ton of sticking-out parts compared to other cars...

Good that we have the awesome sound system to overpower it with some electronic/dance channel music from SiriusXM, haha

I think I’m going to just buy two earplugs better yet, maybe they should add that option in the build.

Did they do an actual inspection of your vehicle to see if there were any flaws with seals etc. or did they just tell you there is nothing that can be done

Pretty must same as many reported here. Lot of wind buffering noise, similar to driving with the moonroof or window slightly open and it gets worse as the speed increases. I'm hoping its some headliner/door/windshield seal or alignment issue.

Would you know from any other source (forums) if this hardtop noise a widespread issue or just some remote cases ? Has the factory been made aware of this ?
I have a 2dr hardtop Rubicon on order and I'm getting kinda scared.

They kept the vehicle all day, said they checked all the seals, can’t replicate the issue and to them it looks normal (aka - any other Jeep).

get a big arse roll of duct tape, and tape that muther up and drive it in wind and see if it changes at all. if its the same its jsut good old noise from outside, if its much better well you know you need to adjust window/seal.

Based on my initial test drive, the noise doesn't sound anything like the JK's. I have headliners on my 2 door and its is way quieter than the JLR I test drove. I may just have to get a Recon since this seems to be a pretty big issue for many.

Have not driven a JL to compare but with my TJ, the noise increases noticeably when my airspeed is high enough to pull the slipstream from the front edge of the hood down to the roof or below. So generally, at highway speeds that's happening but may happen at a lower or higher speed depending on wind direction.
