Harbor Freight Moving Blankets: Why You Need Them

Turn the blankets 90 degrees to protect the speaker grill and the plastic sides when you're hauling hard-sided stuff.

We've moved so much that I've ended up with a half dozen commercial packing blankets. I've thought over and over about cutting one down to size to "exactly" fit the rear deck. But, then I load up the Jeep for a trip and realize how handy an oversize pad is for protecting the sides. Two Harbor Freight blankets would be handy for trips with them turned 90 degrees.

There's a coupon on HF's website for these blankets, $3.49 each... I bought 5 of them, one for my Rubi, one for the wife's Sport, and 3 for the shop for fender covers... There are also coupons for several of those led lights... PSA: If you save these pictures on your phone, they can scan the pic straight off the phone and will honor the pricing...

Thank you for this... I've never given Harbor Freight enough credit until recently. Sure, some of their stuff is cheap & chintzy, but the materials I needed for the work I've done came from them...some of it less expensive than Lowe's & Home Depot.

I've learned that Jeep ownership makes you go places you never otherwise would have gone. I have an HF, coincidentally, less than 1,000 feet from my Jeep dealer, same side of the street, 4 minutes from home...and I have to pass it to get home.

Do yourself and your Jeep a favor and go buy a few Harbor Freight 40x72” moving blankets.

Same here. I used to pick up a free tape measure every time I'm driving by my local H.F. (I have a box of about 10 new ones, and about 10 more scattered through my barn...), but lately picking up those blankets. Very handy. Used one last week in the back of my TJ when I took our poor old dog with a bladder problem to and from the vet. Just threw the blanked out when we got home...I've got more anyways. (She's doing better b.t.w.)
There's a H.F. app for your phone where you get "special coupons" and don't have to remember the paper ones.

I love this light. Awesome when you’re changing oil - just stick it to the frame. Also works great under the hood.

Absolutely love that light as well. I'll probably end up with 3-4 of them eventually.
