Gupton custom order timeline

Emailed Daniel yesterday to inquire about the possibility of still ordering a 2021 Rubicon. How long does it take for a response back? Cant get a clear answer anywhere locally if I can still order a 2021 or will have to wait for the 2022's to open. Any insight appreciated!

Here's the response from Daniel when i enquired on the Rubicon back mid-August:
" Unfortunately, we are not able to order Rubicon Unlimited with the 2.0L any longer for 21MY. We missed the window to get that order in! Would you like to wait until 22MY opens up for the 2.0L Rubicon Unlimited?
Currently you would either have to order the 3.6L Auto which requires that you add the $4000 Extreme Recon package or the 3.0 Eco Diesel to order a 21MY Rubicon"

D basically mean Jeep accepted your order.
Most of us spent a lot of time there.
Once it hits D1 things start happening.
Mine was like 8 weeks in D.
A week in D1.
Then it got built that week.
Now it is rotting in "shipping" for 3 weeks.

Been emailing all afternoon…placed the order for a base Rubicon without the recon package but got the 3.6 as you stated…waiting on the von

Sticker is aka MSRP. Invoice is what the manufacturer initially charges the dealer for the vehicle. Of course the dealer gets other discount / incentives, etc from the manufacturer that's why they can sell you at below invoice price and still make money.

You might want to wait until next month. The 2022 order banks are rumored to open in Oct.

Just placed my deposit and got a VON for a 2 door Rubicon from Gupton. They are still honoring the 6-7-8% off, unsure of when the 22 order banks would open, or confident of the differences between a 21 or 22 year model. This one is for my wife and she loves my 392 so not sure if changes for 22 would matter to her.

That was our thought process. I have a Mojave Gladiator and my wife is excited to have a Rubicon!

Just curious, how long does the FCAC chat normally take? I haven't tried it yet for my build.

Couple of mins. You provide them with the VIN and they respond back with these canned statuses.

They don't give out codes though.

08/14 - Order/VON
08/21 - VIN
09/20 - "All of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon."

Just ordered with Gupton - JLU Rubicon, didn't want to wait on '22, pretty sure prices will definitely go up. I wanted Hydro Blue after seeing it, so.......easy decision, I was looking at a Bronco to replace my '07 JKU, but just too many issues with Ford, sticking with what I know. My JKU has been great, just ready to upgrade.

Great! Mine is a Hydro blue. Wanted a chief blue at one point but they don't make that anymore. Seeing a few hydros on the streets, I'm loving it.
