Timing is debatable but mine appeared just shortly after it was built and in JB status (body vendor). The date I received when I went into D1 was close to the build date but I've been in JB now for almost two weeks with no window sticker. Good luck.

They're pretty firm on the 30 day waiting period. You can get a control number early but if they submit it before the 30 day waiting period it will get kicked back and the dealership will send you a bill for the difference. Call your dealership and tell them you have Covid and will be in next week to pick it up and you will bring your welcome letter and control number with you when you come in. How the hell did you get your Jeep built and delivered to the dealership in 26 days?????

Thank you for the quick reply. I honestly have no idea. I checked the chat a week after ordering and they told me it was already built and was pending quality inspections. Then a week later I checked back and it was in transit. I checked today for the ETA through the chat and they told me their system was down. Then I get a call its on a truck from Orlando and headed to the dealership today. So now its there. ? The dealership said this is a record.

The hubby (Mike) and I ordered our JLU Sahara on 4/9...I'm not expecting any particular timeline given the fact that it took 7 months to build our 500 Abarth edition PRE-COVID! However, when we ordered our Fiat, we got an email confirmation from FCA saying "welcome to the family...blah blah blah." I was kind of expecting one from Jeep, but haven't received it yet. Is this normal/typical? I have the POC...so I know its ordered, but I was kinda expecting an email from Jeep. Maybe I'm going nuts, or expecting too much. I'd appreciate some insight if anyone has any. Thanks so much from the cold Wisconsin north!

Hello Everybody,

I'm new here but have been reading and learning a ton of great information. I ordered my 2022 Sahara 4xe on April 1st for a 30th birthday present to myself. I did end up ordering through a dealership who offered the tread lightly discount. I joined tread lightly the same day I placed the order on my Jeep.

Fast forward to today. I just received news that my jeep has arrived at the dealership! I know it shocked me too. I'm only 26 days in on my tread lightly membership. Does anybody know if the 30 day membership really holds true when it comes to the discount? I was able to obtain a control number today.

I figured I'd ask you guys for your input. Owning a jeep has been a lifelong dream of mine and I'm so excited to finally join the family!

I received an email from [email protected] 12 days after my order was confirmed. I think it depends on whether the dealer enters your email somewhere at some point. Not sure if it has to be done at the time of order or if you can ask the dealer to add your email into the system now.

I didn't receive my welcome email until I first contacted JC and they collected my contact info to associate with my POC/VON. The email contains pretty much nothing though.

I just contacted JC to inquire about the welcome email and the rep told me that I wouldn't receive that until the Build phase

I’m on my 3rd build right now this one is a 2.0 Rubicon with XR package. My last 2 builds took 5 weeks each. I built this one 3-31 and just learned today it is in D1 status what kind of lead times have you guys seen lately once it entered D1 status?

Congrats on the world record time! Ordered mine Feb 21. In "body vendor" aka JB status for a week now. Crossing fingers that I get out and shipped this week!

I saw a post on another Wrangler forum saying that the pigments for the red paints come out of China and they are in a massive Covid lockdown. They said any red colors will be held up. Of course, I ordered firecracker red. Please tell me that post was bullsh*t.

My Firecracker Red Sahara was built on 4/21 and delivered to me on 4/27. If it is true, it doesn't seem to have effected my build.

Any predictions on timing of my build? I have a VIN, a VON, and a POC as of 4/14. Jeep chat says still in "scheduling phase". Curious what others smarter than me think my timing will be. FYI it's a basic build, Sport S 2 door with 2 liter automatic. thanks!
