'22 Rubicon 392: Ordered 11/29/21
Just got moved to D1 Status, ordered 2/19, no est. delivery date
It hasn't even been a month! Count yourself fortunate for some movement so quickly.

I'm curious, as I've only bothered the JC folks 3 times since my order in November. How often do people reach out to check status? Daily? Weekly? I'm not sure I want to read the copy/paste answer every day that there still has been zero movement on my order.

2022 Rubicon ordered - 20 weeks deep
I ordered on 12/7 rubicon. Was in D1 status for months. Now back to D status. This is getting extremely ridiculous seeing people who ordered way after me getting theirs already and I am getting sent backwards.

Unfortunately, I am so disappointed with this, I don't think I am going to be buying it at this point. Dealer told me probably 4-6 weeks. and it has been now 13 weeks and we are regressing.

No one but a select few know how orders are moved from D1 to build. Some orders sit for months before being built. Others may be built within a couple of weeks of order. Your dealer does not know why, Jeep Chat does not know why, and anyone that does know isn't talking. They do not build them in batches, a 4 door white color can be in the line behind it a 2 door Hellayella then a 4 door Sky One Touch and so on.

Hopefully this isn't against the rules, feel free to delete it if it is, and let me know where I can post it. I saw a post somewhere about prices being 1-2% below invoice, and another that was 11% below invoice. Can any of you life long Jeepers give me advice on what you think I should be paying for the Jeep below. Just opinions, unless you work for a dealership. I have never ordered a vehicle from the factory before.

One thing I find amusing, if not annoying, is that the destination charge is $1595 and if you order it from Hawaii the charge is $1645. An extra $50 to have it shipped to Hawaii. It is 153 miles from the Toledo Plant to my dealership. But I pay the same destination charge as somebody who orders a Jeep from California. But I guess it all averages out in the long run. Mine should be shipped by truck and not train. To bad they won't let me go pick it up.

I am happy to see the progress, just sharing the status change for others trying to gauge the current waits (I have the timeline in my sig as well). No complaint here, just sharing the good news :like:

Look for 4-7% below invoice and 10-12% MSRP. You're doing good if you are willing to travel if you are not near one of these dealers doing this deal.

If you don't want to travel, join Tread Lightly and you can get 1% below invite from most dealers (but check to be sure).

Gupton will quote you a price that is 5% below invoice. For my build with sticker price of 49,110, that comes out to 44,782. With additional 1% affiliate discount and 1% discount for letting them do the financing, the price is at 43,892. yours would be in that ball park. the most helpful thread is the recommended dealers list. That’s were I got the info to get that deal. Thanks to those!

Since you are in OH I would suggest you to contact RENEE at GUPTON in Nashville TN. She gave me a 12.2% discount this consider Tread Lightly discount and also the financing with them (which give you extra). So overall you should be around $43K contact her sending your build PDF that you get from the JEEP site and she will give you the pricing back. Let us know if i was close with the estimate! here her info: Renee Berry [email protected]

Ordered my Gladiator Altitude March 04, 2022 went to BX status after a couple of days. Order is good from what I gather. I think they are securing parts etc. Anyone have a time-line on how long it took them to go from BX status to D1? I was told that orders right now are 3-5 months. But if the order is attached to a person (customer) then those orders are prioritized. Is that correct?

Mine has been over 3 months and it went backwards in the stages, so doubtful.

Wondering what a realistic timeline for getting my VIN will be? I ordered a rubicon last week from my local dealership and didn’t receive any sort of confirmation.

Should have your VIN within a day or two at the latest based upon hundreds of forum members experience.
