Yeah maybe I'm just not bothering them enough or my name isn't on it. I give them the VIN and my info that they ask for, they'll give me the status but will not give an ETA. It's in the KZ status right now and maybe an ETA hasn't been assigned yet.
KZ status is shipping. Your dealer knows when it will be at the dealership. They have access to the shipment details.

I placed my order on 8/7 which included the stitched leather MOPAR seats. My estimated delivery date is 11/3 - 11/10 so it will be approx 13 weeks for me.
I ordered two Jeep JLURER's with exactly the same options. One on 9/13 and the other 9/14. The one on 9/14 has an estimated delivery at the dealer 11-4-14. The other one ordered 9/13 is still in D1 with no advancement in the last 18 days. Go figure!!!!!

I've joined the club! Just received my very first Wrangler. It was 58 days from Order to Pickup. A HUGE thanks to the original writer of this forum/thread along with all of you who have added info and replies to generate a great informative conversation - this has been incredibly helpful.

Ordered from Courtesy Jeep of Superstition Springs in Phoenix, AZ area. Great experience with Chris Caban the salesperson & the whole Courtesy Jeep team - highly recommended dealership from my point of view.

Seems like we pay A LOT more in Arizona that same vehicle in other states, but felt I got as good of a deal as possible. Much appreciation to Scott Gruwell and the Gruwell Family who own the Courtesy dealerships.

I got too good of an offer from Carvana on my 2018 JLU Sahara, so I sold it. I should have got a JLUR when I bought it, but I was impatient and it was a manual transmission which was my requirement and it was on the lot ready to go. So, now I placed my order for a 2022 JLUR.

Of course, we only have one option in our town unless we want to travel a couple of hours to Vegas where there's more dealerships, and against my better judgement I ordered through the dealer here. I did the build with them and paid my deposit on 10/18 and was told the order would be placed on 10/19. On 10/22 I checked in with the sales rep (who had up to that point been extremely flakey with me) and he told me it had been ordered and was in "Scheduled" status. He ignored my texts and emails over the next several days asking for an update on VIN assigned and a POC. On 10/26 he texted asking me if I had ordered a stick. I thought it was an odd question and suspected they were just then placing the order, but he assured me that no, they just thought they had made a mistake. On 10/28 he sends me a photo of the POC with the VIN assigned on 10/28, but the idiot didn't block out the order date...it was 10/26; more than a week after I was told it was ordered.

The bad news is, I'm dealing with liars. The good news is, the VIN was assigned in two days, which seems pretty quick.

Thanks for the intel on USAA. We've looked into USAA on prior loans, but we didn't need them to hold approval for 45 days before so USAA is looking a bit better. It may indeed be helpful.
I was a consumer lender at a credit union for 7 years. Unless you’re super borderline on your score, like within 2 points, it’s not going to matter if they pull your credit again.

also, if you take dealer financing, shop your rates before. I tell you this because I absolutely despise F&I people. The dealer will get an approval from a lender and then bump you 1-5% and that’s where they make more money than selling you the car. The. They’ll try to tack on GAP, even when you’re in a good equity position (which is why I hate them) and over priced warranties. If you shop your rate and know what you can get, the dealer will most always be able to match. They’ll generally only get a flat fee of like $500 from the lender instead of all the extra payment which the lender expected to collect in interest. If you really want to piss off the F&I guy, take their rate then refi it somewhere else within 60 days, the dealer will get a chargeback and usually you’ll get a better rate. For example, my credit union had a 2% discount (down to a certain floor) with a loan you refinanced through them. So, if I was buying a used car (rates are generally higher with used) I would tell the dealer a rate I could get through my CU at 2% higher than the floor. The dealer would match it and then I’d refi and get the floor rate.
Have I mentioned I HATE F&I guys?

Ordered a 2021 Sahara on 9/30/2021. Dealer advised today the the Jeep was in Code F - Paint. Jeep.com Chat confirmed the vehicle is getting painted now.....once completed it will be moving on to get the trim installed.....then to inspections and then on to shipping.

Good luck. Mine finished trim 10 days ago and has been waiting on “accessories” ever since. I ordered the dual door group, but no other Mopar accessories.

Can't stand dealing with finance. I always come with own financing from NFCU. They can't beat them anyway and even if they could by a point it is not worth another payment some where else when everything is at NFCU.

They always want to run my credit also and I am like nah but thanks. Don't want any of the other stuff either. If I want GAP NFCU is 499.00 but no need really.

Yeah, I lost all respect when a member sat down with me and I saw that they sold him an $899 GAP policy when he had 50% equity. We sold ours for $295, it covered up to 150% and I wouldn’t even offer it if anyone had > 10% equity doing 60mo or > 20% equity doing 72mo.

Tomorrow will be 10 weeks to the day since I placed my order. I was told 8-12 weeks when I ordered. It came exactly in the middle of that timeframe. I'll need to bring it in next week to get my customer wheels and tires done, but I take my Rubi home tomorrow.

It's been a long 10 weeks. It's tough watching the crypto tracker and seeing so many Jeeps ordered after mine get updates and completed before mine. But I know there are still a LOT remaining ordered weeks before mine that are yet to be built. I feel for you guys and gals, but I am thankful mine is complete!

8/21 - Order
8/21 - VON
8/25 - VIN and D , maybe a day or two earlier
9/24 - D1
9/29 - Est Build date 10/13
10/11 - Framing stage, should be complete within a couple days.
10/12 - Built: awaiting installation of accessories
10/13 - Build sheet
10/18 - Completed Inspection, in shipping stage, no dealer ETA
10/19 - KZS, still no dealer ETA, Window Sticker!!!
10/22 - In transit, dealer ETA 10/27-11/8
10/27 - At the local railyard, only 30 miles to go!!!
10/29 - Arrived at dealer, pick up tomorrow after PDI complete

CONGRATULATIONS. Beautiful new Jeep.
I ordered a 2022 Willys on 10/13, and can't hardly wait to get it. I had a 1973 CJ, 304 V8, 3 speed back in the day that I really miss. Also had a 1952 Military jeep that was all original, even with the all the tool brackets on it. I regret selling it. Bought a new 2013 Unlimited new for my wife, but unfortunately wrecked it after a short 3 years. NOW, I'm really looking forward to our new Willys!!

Ordered MY21 Willys Sport JLU EcoDiesel with Tow/Accessory package on 8/30. Salesman at Frisco Jeep doesn't think to highly of communication. Found out from Jeep Chat today my order FINALLY has all the parts gathered and is awaiting a build date. I finally feel like things are happening, so excited! :jk:?

I won't be contacting the salesman at Frisco Jeep again. Want to see if he'll ever initiate anything on his own, or if he wants me to keep doing his job for him. ?

Looks like you are in D1 status. Not sure how often you check Jeep Chat. At this stage they may not be able to provide an estimated build date, but they should be able to tell you how long you have been at this stage, "all parts gathered... and sequenced for build". I was in that stage for about 5 days before I got an estimated build start date.
