Yeah. I did that back in 2011. I’ve got some work to do to expand it beyond my order and some web access stuff to do. But I’m going to ask for some volunteers in a separate post. If I can get 2-3 people to buy in and be patient while I build it out (and I have a job and family) I think I could open it more broadly.

I placed my order on 8-1 and sadly check the URL link along with the pizza tracker daily with disappointment.

I did however snag a really great deal on some MOPAR tube doors today from a guy parting out his Rubicon today. The amount of parts, wheels, running boards, etc. in my garage already is hilarious given how far out I probably am...

I actually built a web app around Order Status, Window Sticker & Build Sheet tracking a couple of weeks ago. The tracking portion of it is not completed yet, but you can take a look at the first version of it live at: WaitingForJeep.com.

You can also bookmark the link after you view your order status to quickly open it instead of having to type in your VON & Last Name every time. The url will look like this: waitingforjeep.com/orderstatus?lastName=YourLastName&orderNumber=12345678

This supports all CJDR brands but obviously the focus is on Jeep

Hope you all enjoy it - would love to hear some feedback around it.

Try this, just put your von and last name. Mine shows all the status codes and the estimated eta since it went into d1. I found the link somewhere here on the forums but I don’t remember under what subtitle or who to give credit to.

That is the $64,000 question around here. Sorry, but there is no good answer. If you go back through this and the 2023 Orders thread you'll see there are some folks who ordered in June who are still "Scheduled" but not "In Production" yet, and there are some who purchased in August who have Vehicle Built and are just waiting on inspection and shipping. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle. I ordered a month before you and I'm still in Order Confirmed.

The best advice is to contact your dealer. They tend to have the most updated build info. After that, there are a number of online tracking sites you can use to check for progress.

Any idea what MD status is? I have a friend that works at the plant and he says it’s been in that status for 3 weeks and all he knows is that it means it’s scheduled but not scheduled.

Hmm. It's not on the list of status codes here:

There is an "M" (material hold) on the list and a "D" of course for (scheduled). But I don't know if they do combinations or not.

Happy Day 42 since I ordered my 2-Door JLR. As of today, I, like oh-so-many others sit in the pizza tracker as "scheduled"... It hasn't moved since 23 August. I know, I know... Maybe it will be a merry Christmas?

Once you enter your info, the tracker that pops up looks a bit like the Domino's pizza tracker, hence the name.

Update: Jeep started build process 9/24. 9/28 it finished and today the awesome news that it's waiting to hitch a ride from Toledo to Lincolnton, NC. I'm in a suburb of Charlotte, so hopefully there's a rail car or three headed this way very soon. Currently Pizza Tracker still says estimated delivery date of 2 November... Yay!

Your tracker isn’t broken. D status is not shown on the tracker. It’s goes from C to D1. Your VIN won’t show until you hit D1. That’s how it’s designed to work.

If that’s how it’s designed to work, that’s a poor design; it would be child’s play to update the VIN field with the number, once it’s assigned.
