GPS issues

So has anyone found out whats up? I had this floating on water etc as well as heading nb when actually Im driving east. Any ideas? I got a new navigation system and now 6 months later its doing it again! Wth?

I had my radio replaced, antenna relocated, and (knock on wood) it has been working.

The Dealer has no idea what why it happens other than a possible bad air card.

FCA won't respond with an answer.

Jeeps Cares helped to expedite the delivery of the new radio but has no answers either.

‍ I’m taking mine in tomorrow for the gps issues , not that I actually need it cause of my phone but it’s just nice to have ..they told me on the phone when I set up the appointment that I have to change what state I’m in , in the gps system .isnt that the point of a gps to tell me that answer .... also going in for 2 recalls ....hopefully they are open tomorrow though with this virus going around

Right I had mine replaced by Jeep. Now as of yesterday almost a year after replacement- I’m floating on a lake in Maine! I’m in Minnescota and not on a la Lke! First there paint issues fixed by Jeep-Abra pls God let that need Done! And note the navigation Again! I paid extra for this Better nav set up!

Check the continuity of the antenna wire. Mine was shorting out and possibly causing improper location (Dealer comments).

Ok brought my jeep in. Received a “text” that I will pay over $1000 to put a new radio in. THIS IS THE 2nd radio in a 2018! Wtf?! No explanation given and why in the hell is it having issues? I did NOTHING to it to make it go crazy? Jeep needs to give me and wveryone else answers and stop bs-ing me because Im a woman? Or they just dont care to give details and back their damn product! Yes I am mad this is crap I paid top dollar for my jeep and once more Another problem NOt caused by me . And no answers they just want $ and what the hell am I replacing this piece of crap navigation/radio for $1000 every 2 years????! Im going BBB and all social media on this because this sounds fishy and who the hell is Bernie service guy who only texts? What kind of service is that?

W, Tried doing an update for the navigation issue, it won't accept it. It will need a new radio. Parts and labor $1019.82. Radio will take 2 weeks to get. Please advise

ah no never tried an update and if they did they fried the perfectly working RADIO and jeep cares advised - I gave them the paperwork from Jeep Cares

Check out my dealings with dealership today…. Posted below …. Arg. Decided to NOT buy a 3rd system to replace the gps.

I wouldn't replace with stock. Buy aftermarket, Alpine or Stinger both make great units specifically for the Wrangler

My elevation sometimes reads in meters instead of ft. Only twice in 2 1/2 years. Figured it might be the the satellite.
