Yup, it's a shame it's not considered a swappable part, especially since the clock and other functions rely on it. My Jeep thought it was in the middle of the Atlantic for over two months before a replacement came in...

On the same lines of replacing the entire axle because of a bad ball joint... that was another decision Jeep made on my first JL that had me shaking my head.

Alpine has a Wrangler compatible unit better than Uconn and the wire harness is made to match all wire components. So save the trouble and buy a unit that wont keep breaking down or cost $$$! Google alpine nav unit for wrangler
