Once upon a time there was a rookie cop, 6 weeks out of the academy with a Supervisor at a traffic accident on a freeway in Los Angeles, a pedestrian, which is illegal on California freeways, walked quickly toward the scene. The rookie was ordered to tell the pedestrian to get off the freeway. Immediately upon contact, the rookie was attacked and his weapon was ripped from his holster. The rookie was also placed in a headlock by the much larger pedestrian. Within a fraction of a second, the gun was pointed at the cops temple. Due to the rookie’s previous CQB military training, the cop disarmed the pedestrian and blew the pedestrians brains out. During the next 5 years, the Rookie was involved in two more fatal shootings. Because of a divorce, the now seasoned cop took 12 months leave of absence every other year to earn tax free money in Iraq and Afghanistan. He put his 0321 skills to work. He earned a ton of money, which would eventually pay for law school. However on one fateful day in Afghanistan, he and his teammates were involved in a firefight, in which several civilians were killed. The media reported fake news and the cop was forced to LE. The Chief of Police elected to place the cop in narcotics. During the subsequent 10 years, the cop was involved in two more fatal shootings. Due to political pressure, the cop was removed from Narcs and given a K9. Fast forward to an early Sunday summer morning. The cop, because of short staff, went to work with very bad sciatica pain. The dumbass thought he could do 10 hours, answer his radio and ride it out…..he had a dog. He hit the freeway for a cover call, when suddenly a corvette passed him doing well over 100MPH. The cop whom requested cover, went code 4 and at the same time, the corvette exited the freeway. The K9 cop lit up the corvette and it yielded into a fast food restaurant parking lot at 11:22 AM. Both the corvette driver and cop exited their vehicles simultaneously. The corvette driver immediately attacked the cop and bent the cop, backward over the hood of the police car. The cop, although he had been previously wounded in Iraq, never felt pain like he did that day. I am told, he felt lightening in his entire body. Everyone seated outside (19) at the fast food restaurant pulled out their phones and videoed the incident, but nobody helped the cop. When the corvette driver first impacted the cop, the cops Tazer dislodged and fell to the ground. After what later was determined to be a 2 minute and 12 second struggle, the cop pulled his secondary weapon and blew the head off the corvette driver. Afterward, the cop was mandatorily retired. He now collects almost $10k per month from CalPERS, 60% of which is tax free. He is also a senior partner in a law firm. Once upon a time!
