Wanting to put a new bumper on our 2021 JLU Rubicon , has 2 led flood lights and a 20” led light bar. Question can I hard wire those led lights into the current factory wiring harnes? That way I don’t have to add any new switches and can use the factory fog light switch.. reading that I would have to do something to the Jeep to be able swi from regular lights to using LED lights. Help

You could potentially hook two small LED cube lights to the factory fog light location depending on the draw, but you will need to source power for the light bar elsewhere. This could be accomplished by adding a circuit directly from the battery and using a relay tied into the fog light circuit to power all three new lights. This saves Aux switches but means your fog lights are no longer fog lights and are now “off road only”

You could use a relay, but probably don't want to power the bars directly off the same wiring as the factory fogs. Just power the relay off of them.

What you are reading is for when switching from stock/OEM halogen to stock/OEM LED lights. The vehicle will typically need a flash which updates its programming to allow for the LEDs.

You should not have to do anything to add LED light bars. However, I would advise not running them on the factory wiring. You can use it to trigger a relay, but that is about all I would do.
