Hi
I didn’t see any posts on this, but does anyone know if it’s possible to run GMRS audio through the UConnect as an additional device?

Thanks

If your GMRS radio has an auxiliary output, you can feed that into the aux media port. Bluetooth is another option, but I don’t know if any GMRS radios support it.

My B-tech GMRS Pros have bluetooth. But I don't know if it will link with the Unconnect. Never tried

Depends on the GMRS radio. Some have BT built in, which if you're lucky UConnect can find when searching for a BT audio source. There's also the aux input into the console if your vehicle is so equipped.
Branching out further, a BT transmitter connected to the GMRS may work or one of those dongles that plug into the 3.5mm jack of an audio source that broadcasts on a radio frequency.
Even further out, there are USB cables with audio processing chips in them that will convert an analog (3.5mm etc) signal to digital.

I use the regular audio out jack on my GMRS and ham radios. Pretty impressive sound on the Jeep's speakers

1/8 male to male on Amazon or eBay. Choose the length you need.

Actually I used a splitter so I could use a regular auxiliary speaker behind the driver's head rest when I don't have it plugged into the Jeep's system and/or at the same time.
