To clarify, you're not referencing GDE's normal gen 3 ecodiesel tune, but specifically their afterlife tune?

That is correct, the after life tune that disables EGR and allows you to also delete the DEF and DPF.

I remember there was one guy who was stacking up mileage like nobody's business. Wonder if he is still around and or even knows that this is a thing. Because he'd be a good candidate. I have had failures so mine has had some weight loss. But as much as they tried to hang some people over this stuff I don't have a lot of faith in this sort of thing. If the country isn't turned around I believe the GDE guy is going to roll over for the next administration and to whoever comes a knockin' in an instant. And then, they will be coming for you! I doubt it would be jail time, but they will fine people some outrageous amount unless they sell their vehicles for parts. Or something stupid like that.

I personally think we are going to keep turning this thing around. But if I'm wrong on that point mark my words they will be after people again and worse than before. I think some states may step in and say nope, but anyone in the wrong kind of state watch out.

What I wonder is being here in Colorado and needing to do emissions every year how the afterlife tune with dpf/def delete would be if you kept everything in its location and flushed back a to a stock tune before you had to do the emissions. Cause it seems swapping everything every year would end up being a pain.

All of CO or just the Denver area has emissions testing? Thought you moved...?

It’s certain parts of Colorado most of the metro Denver area and a few other counties unfortunately I’m not in an area that dosent do emissions.
Nope haven’t moved yet and more then likely wot move out of the area since my brother is going to school in Denver and dosent want to far of a drive to get there.
