It might save you 10 Gal or $30 per year. No big deal right? if you take that x 240,000 jeeps sold this year. Well now that's 2.4 million gallons saved as well as the emissions reduction of burning that much fuel.

Hmmm, I'm experiencing better mileage with the cold weather (don't use remote start) I was getting around 340-350 but last 4 tanks of gas has been 380 plus

What about wear and tear on the starter, battery, engine???? Start-stop is stupid. By default they should be set to 90 seconds or allow owners to turn them off.
The engine, battery, and starter are designed to work with start stop. It only works when the oil is warm, so it’s not the wear and tear you would get on a repeated cold engine start.
