Fuel Cap Clip

Why on earth is there no fuel cap tether on the inside of the fuel door? Does anyone have a solution for this? It drives me insane!

Because the fuel door is technically an add-on part and not every JL has one. So the only tether you get is the one on the gas cap itself.

There should be a tether installed to connect the cap to the vehicle, and if not, I believe there's 2 different factory parts of different lengths that can be installed. Or, if you're referring to a hanging mechanism, yeah, it's stupid that there's nothing on the fuel door, but you can install a small utility hook there..
