Whats good fam! Long time but need your help once more!

I have a 2019 Rubi JLU. I put the Mopar 2in lift on it. The driver side front sway bar link stripped on the top portion and right now its all being held together with a bunch of washers!

I want to order the part but seems to be back ordered. What would be a good aftermarket replacement for those?

This is the part: mopar 68306981aa
Also: https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/front-sway-bar-end-link-wrangler-jl-mopar-lift-68306981AA

Everything on the lift kit is from the kit except 1: front adjustable lower control arms and 2: the front spring corrections pads (RK)

Help is appreciated, thanks!

Hey Gary, it’s been a minute……… if you’re using the electronic disconnect and not unhooking them when off-roading then a heim joint works the best……. Less binding and no bushings to wear out…. There’s no noticeable NVH with them either….The best ones I’ve found is the Rock Krawler No Limits sway links, but they’re pretty pricey. The alternative is Icon sway links. They don’t have as much misalignment, and I don’t know about longevity, but they seem pretty well built, and less than half as much as the RKs …of course if you’re not off-roading then any link will do……here’s link…

Interesting! I've never actually used the electronic disconnect. In what instance would I "unhook" them for offroading? And if I have the electronic disconnect why would I unhook the links? Serious questions as I'm quite unfamiliar with this particular practice

Normally you wouldn’t unhook if you have the electro disco unless the links are impeding flex. With the heim style there’s no restrictions, and the elect disco works better. As far as when you would disconnect, that’s personal preference, but for reference, I disconnect before getting on the trail, and don’t reconnect until I hit the pavement. Makes for nicer ride on the trails.

Here’s a small example of connected and disconnected I did so the wife could see the feel the difference.…..the Jeep stays level both passes, but the wheel comes off the ground when connected……..

connected…..

Hello Roky. I kept our Sahara and I sold my Rubicon. It only had 3,280 miles on it. Sold it to my friend at the Jeep dealership. Sold my Top Pro lift to fellow Jeeper. I have my ASFIR Engine/Gear skid still unopened in Box. JL 4-door 2.0 Turbo one. If you know anyone looking.

I just sent Gray a PM about the RK Links I never put on and they are still new in the box. lol

It just wasn't going to be used like it was meant to be. I just couldn't beat a $60,000 Jeep up on dirt and rocks.

I wanted my Truck back and just picked up a 2023 Silverado Crew Cab.

Still a part-time Jeeper but really love my Silverado. I don't have to bug my friend to carry firewood or lumber etc for me anymore.

I have only told Rick @hoag4147 that I sold Jeep. I do miss it some I have to admit. But the Sahara will do for us.

Sorry to hear that, but I totally understand……at least you still have a Jeep, and that’s a sweet truck, I’m sure it takes some of the sting out of it, lol…..

I told Gray to ask you about the RK links. I still have them new in the box. Box weighs 5.9 lbs so shipping is not much and will give him a good deal for them.

I do miss my Rubicon. I am selling the Vicious Off-Road tube doors too. They are like new. lol

We had a scary experience last month. Had the top off and tube doors on going to the lake but went to the store on the way and drove down 6 lane road. I was in the middle lane an auto was to my left. I have a habit of looking at red lights and I saw the truck going too fast and knew he was going to run the light. I had time to slow but the SUV to my left either didn't look or see him and the truck T-boned it. I really don't know what happened to the driver in the SUV because it was a total mess. If I hadn't been looking we would have been t-boned on my wife's side with only tube doors on and top off.

The Silverado does take some sting out. The other day it was really windy and had crosswind on the highway and never felt a thing. Rubicon was like a shoebox with wheels. lol
