Front Hitch Question

Buying a light travel trailer (Under 2k weight) and I am considering storing it at the house. The problem is I would likely need to move it into position with a front hitch since I would not have room to maneuver the jeep. My driveway has a pretty steep incline though. I know it would not be an issue to pull up it, but what about pushing up the incline? Anyone move their trailers on not level ground?

We use to have a steep driveway with a curve. We found that with a front hitch it was much easier to push our trailer up the hill/curve than to try to back it up.

You'll have no problems as long as the trailer doesn't have a surge brake. You have to lock that out if you do. Front hitches are great for tight turns. For your purposes, you could fabricate a very light duty removable ball mount.

Anyone have an idea on how much weight could be put on the front hitch of a JLU? Looking at getting a small camper so that hitch is out of the question. Would like opinions/thoughts?
